U-Haul Moving & Storage of Plainfield

I had an issue with my truck rental and the manager of the location brushed me off and pushed me back to corporate. I then had a storage locker rented here and the facility cut concrete outside the locker causing all my items to be completely covered in concrete dust. I again notified the manager of the location of my displeasure and he couldn't even be bothered enough to respond to my complaint. This location and it's management are awful, I would give it 0 stars but that wasn't an option.

Your trucks are rats. Need major maintenance. Power steering was very low, cant see at night with the headlights very dim and not pointed right.

The employees working there are typically younger, as in late teens and early 20s. Or so it seems. But easy to get in and out. Would be nice to get more discounts on trucks and trailers, but non the less, you get what you need!

Absolutely terrible experience at this branch. I booked a one way truck 36 hours in advance, so I came into town to pick it up. 2 hours before my scheduled pickup, they said that they did not have any one way trucks available. When I explained the situation, they said the would call to find an available truck and would call me back. I received no call back. When I finally called them (15 minutes before my scheduled pickup) they gave me a phone number to their regional office and told me to work with them instead. Absolutely TERRIBLE service, do not use this branch!

I highly do not recommend coming here, especially at night. There were only two brand new employees working and they were unable to help me whatsoever. They were unable to look up the product for my car. After making about 18 phone calls I still went away un-happy. The next uhaul I called helped me out within seconds.
