Ulta Beauty

I love the products and pricing. However the staff makes me feel uncomfortable when I go in. I like to browse, but they continuously follow me around. They don't offer to assist me, but instead watch me like I'm going to shoplift. I'll have to try another location, hopefully I'll have a better experience.

Naturally, my review is strictly based upon the products/services that I have had the pleasure of using, which is fairly limited. Though, nevertheless, this establishment does have the hair product as well as the colognes that I have grown accustom to in stock, not to mention the location is convenient. No complaints.

Refused to help loyal customer or stand by their products. I bought a $189 Babyliss straightener with my birthday money on April 30, 2017. I used it a couple times a week since I bought it before it just stopped working two days ago (just under 5 months since I bought it). I tried to exchange it for the exact same item and Nico, the manager on duty, said there was nothing he could do to help me. Instead of taking care of a loyal store and salon customer, he chose to take the stand that if it wasn't returned within 60 days, he couldn't help. Not only does Ulta (at least the Sparks store) not stand by their products, they put all the work on the customer to try to get resolution directly with the manufacturer. They are happy to be the middle man only when it is directly benefiting them. I have never felt less valued as a customer. While I try to support businesses in my area, I will now buy from Amazon as they have always assisted with defective exchanges happily.

I went in the store and asked one of the stuff if they have a tester of one of the tinted cream I was interested. She was kind of snappish and said “it keeps getting stolen”. Since then I drive to Sephora to the other side of the town. I am a customer who spends thousands dollars in cosmetics in a year, so naturally don’t want to be treated as a thief.

All name brand makeups the Ulta I go to has a friendly staff very helpful very clean, high-end to low end makeup
