Umobi Mark MD

Waiting can feel a bit long (usually 2 hours), but Dr. Umobi always acknowledges and apologizes for it. He's a busy man & it never shows. His bedside manner is extremely pleasant and consistent. He listens and addresses my concerns with dignity. No matter where I see him, he always greets me with a smile. His staff is very pleasant, to match.

Have seen him since before he even got into his own practice. And followed him. He is amazing. Will help you with everything. And no question is never unanswered. Makes your pregnancy a priority. Will recommend to anyone asking. However. Scheduling is horrible. And sometimes you wait forever. But. He is worth the wait.

I have never felt more comfortable with any other obgyn. After a bad experience with a previous doctor, umobi made me feel worthy of his time and hospitality. He's very gentle and willing to answer any questions without rushing. The only downfall is the wait time. I have waited for 3 hours at one point and with a toddler. It wasn't fun. However, he's worth the wait and that's the only reason why I keep coming back to his office. The staff is incredible too!

I'm not sure what happened with that one reviewer, but I can say nothing but good things about this office. First off, in no way is this office "ghetto", despite what that one nasty person said. I came from a recommendation, and I was so incredibly happy by the service. All of the staff here were super, super nice to me (so much nicer than my last obgyn's staff, who were all about as friendly as a block of ice). I can see why so many people rave about Dr. Umobi and his office. I am very happy with the service provided here. Dr. Umobi is very nice, very professional, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Even though, yeah it can be a long wait, he doesn't make you feel like a number. So happy I was recommended to go here.

I'm currently 25 weeks and was extremely nervous about picking a doctor. I had recently moved and didn't have anyone close to me and picked a doctor who delivered nearest to me. I even called the hospitals labor and delivery floor and asked the nurse who she recommended. He was one of them and I'm so glad I went with him. He does not rush you whatsoever which means he can run a taddddd behind, but he's so worth it. He makes you feel like your pregnancy is as important to him as it is to you. At least that's my experience. Any question I've had he's been patient and answered, he's the same calm and collected person every time I've seen him which will be super important for me in the delivery room. I give him my highest recommendation.
