USPS has been having trouble finding my house, even though my family has lived here for about ten years. I had two amazon packages coming, but they were not delivered. I got a notification saying that they were undeliverable. I called Amazon, who then contacted USPS. The lady who helped me was very helpful. She said she'd message my local USPS and tell them to hold my packages so I could come pick them up. Well, the next day rolls around and I drive to the Newburgh USPS office. I come up to the counter and tell the guy what happened, briefly. Then he asks me if I got a packing slip in the mail... NO BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FIND MY HOUSE, YOU MORON. He then asks for my ID so he can see if he has it on the shelf in the back. He takes my ID, walks to the nearest empty shelf, then walks back and said, "Yeah I don't have it here, it's out for delivery." This guy was rude, and he definitely wasn't there to help or make anyone's life easier. If I receive my packages today, it'll be a miracle.

Five inches of snow of Friday. Main roads clear on Saturday. Still no mail delivery after I shoveled out the area in front of my mailbox. In addition, mail delivery over the past 3 months has been between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Small, home-based businesses lose a day of doing business with this poor service.

The service quality is what would bring a regular post office a one star review. **You can bring your own tape or you will have to buy it there.** They will not dispense a single strip of tape if you beg them. Oh, expect to be in line for at least five or more minutes.

Pretty straight forward is post office...has a lot of personal PO boxes to accommodate the area..usually a wait here...I don't believe they are properly staffed at the front desk to meet customer quantity and needs.
