Explored this area for the first time last November, wild and beautiful. Attached eagle pics I took from the Roebling Bridge/Aqueduct, s/he was swooping in, took a pigeon from under the bridge.

Took a day trip upstate from Long Island to some places our parents took us 40 years ago on Barryville, Shohola, and Port Jervis. Very scenic area and a fun drive thru Snake Hill by the Hawks Nest. Stopped for dinner at Roy's Family Diner in Port Jervis and was just delighted with great food and friendly people.

Hawks Nest has beautiful views of the Delaware River below and the winding road above it. Truly the scenic byway overlooking the Delaware!
