Lost River Caverns

This is a small but fun and interesting cave. I came with my husband (his second visit) and two children, aged ten and six. The entire thing, tour plus cool gift shop/museum, takes about an hour and a half. The cave tour was reasonably priced, plus we picked up some small chotchkes and candy. Paul was our tour guide, and he was knowledgeable and patient. It was just us and Paul on the tour (last tour of the day on a Sunday in early February), and he answered my children's questions, let us linger to take pictures, and made sure we were safe whilst navigating the cave. Bring a jacket, as it is cool in the cave year round, and some sturdy/not slippery shoes. Leave the flip flops at home.

The tour takes about 45 minutes. Guides are very knowledgeable and get to know the tour group as you go through the cavern. Makes for a quick but interesting day trip.

I love going there. Very interesting the design of the rocks. Nice friendly people.

did the cavern tour today. Tour guide was very good. The caverns were fascinating. Great to do in the winter when it's not too crowded. We enjoyed it!

Really great tour, very interesting spot. Neat gift shop. Definitely worth a visit. Parking isn't the greatest, but it isn't bad.
