USF Audiology Clinic

This review will have both good and bad points and explain why I am giving it a 3-star review. The good points; It was quite, the staff had sent a nice welcome packet beforehand with all the information that was needed and it even had a parking pass enclosed with the packet. All the staff there were really nice and it was an easy process for the most part. The bad points…The first point is that they were supposed to send a insurance predetermination before the appointment. The second problem was that it took them an additional 15 minutes past our appointment time before they called us back. They never did. The actual hearing booth had problems…The first one was that one of the lights in there was making a buzzing sound that was really annoying and that it was not really set up for young kids. I dunno, there was something that was missing from the exam room. Then finally, as we were checking out, SURPRISE!!! the receptionist told us that we owned almost 400 dollars for a deductible. I spent 20 minutes arguing with them that I did not owe that and I even had a representative from my insurance company speak to them explaining that I do not owe that. It was finally decided that they would send me a bill in the mail after they had billed my insurance company. It would have been nice if they had told us beforehand that way we could have made an informed decision beforehand.

I highly recommend this clinic. They are very professional and clearly explain everything they are doing. Very friendly staff and the Dr. was great! They are very patient focused. .
