Very unpleasant people work there! I would give them a 0 stars if allowed. People are rude when you come there. They seem to always lose your packages or have no correct info. When you call, you get NO ONE! You have a better cance talking to a wall. One time I came in on time, between business hours to pick up a package and THEY HAD THE PLACE CLOSED! I went in and the doors that are normally open were shut. I peeked through the window and waved to alert them I wanted to pick up my package and one person rolled their eyes as if I am causing them an inconvenience. I mean sheesh, If you don't like your job, seek other employment! I am not on a slander campaign, I take receiving my mail seriously, and do so other people that get mail through USPS. Some places ONLY ship through them! If I had another choice, I would go for it. I dread getting my mail through them.
We have tried to place mail holds to stop delivery when we are out of town. Consistently, they deliver our mail anyway. Once we had a temporary hold that clearly stated it was for 30 days and then mail delivery to resume. At the end of 30 days they decided that we'd moved and all mail was marked "return to sender; no forwarding address." I to go to my US House of Representatives constituent rep to get that one fixed. No one ever answers the phone. Going in person as I did twice when our mail was being returned is useless as the manager is either not available or has no answers
A mess. Employees aren’t professional– they’re on their phones a lot, no efficient with time and have poor attitudes. Also, no one ever answers the phone in the branch. This doesn’t happen oin Timonium.
Awful. Will consistently leave “We Missed You” notices and then mark the reason as “Heavy.” Umm…you didn’t miss me, you didn’t even ring the bell, you just didn’t feel like carrying a 40-lb box of kitty litter. A requirement of the job is that mail carriers be able to lift 70 lbs. If you can’t/won’t do the job, why do you have it? This has happened to me at least 3 times, but it’s hard to complain when no one answers the phone.
This post office is my local . It has GREATLY IMPROVED since last. year. They have improved service by adding agent to serve customers by adding a second agent. Their array of stamps and mailing supplies has greatly increased! Prior to this improvement, many times they would have NO STAMPS for sale, and the agent she is no longer there would loudly announce, "We have no stamps ." I am happy that service has greatly improved at the Waverley PO.
This post office sucks. They lost at least 3 of my packages that I never got. The carriers bend your packages and I just saw that someone opened my mail today and then put it in the mail box. It had to be the worker because I just checked it 15 mins prior. Oh and don't ask for the manager they are never available, I've asked for them on 5 different occasions. Just called there 4 times and the line is busy.
If you can help it, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRUST OR BE INVOLVED WITH THIS POST OFFICE IN PARTICULAR. I’ve had different carriers over the course of the past 6-months, and the first seemed to have a bit of common sense and offered to hide packages because she was aware of consistent theft in the neighborhood. Our current carrier, even after being told REPEATEDLY to not leave packages on our front steps, continues to do it EVEN AFTER MULTIPLE PACKAGES HAVE BEEN STOLEN. And that isn’t the worst part, I was able to have a package rerouted to that Post Office to be held, I go to get it and they can’t find it and tell me to come back when it’s convenient. I speak with the new manager, sign a paper to have packages held at their office and not delivered at my house, and they REDELIVER A PACKAGE TODAY AND LEAVE IT ON THE FRONT STEPS WITH NO ONE HOME!
Awful delivering late at night, then cant take care of my business until the next day if im off work. My name is on my box, so why keep putting someone who doesn't live here in my box everyday. Waiting all day for my mail when there are things i need to do early in the morning or doing the day. Not the next day
The post office itself is okay. The reason I'm rating it so low is because NO ONE KNOCKS OR RINGS THE DOORBELL WHEN THEY DELIVER PACKAGES! Instead they just leave a slip! Or if they do knock, they're gone in the 30 seconds it takes me to get to the front door. I've had to make five trips for FIVE packages because all they did was leave a slip. I, or a roomate, was home EVERY single time! The last package, they didn't even leave any slip. I had to find out through my tracking. Now I cannot get it until Monday. That's three extra days and it's not even delivered. I have to go out of my way to pick it up. What am I even paying delivery for?
My package was supposed to be delivered Thursday. I checked the tracking at 4:41 and it said it was delivered 4:39. So I went upstairs to check. It wasn't there. I looked in the mailbox it was the pink slip. I requested a redelivery. It didn't come yesterday. I called at 10 today as soon as they opened. They answered quickly. She kept putting me on hold. she'd come back and say she forgot what I said. After 15 minutes she finally told me that it takes 48 hours to redeliverwhich would be today and that I can pick it up or it'll be delivered Monday. So much for 2 day priority shipping. I paid $7.75 for that I'm not going to go pick it up. It'll get delivered to my porch.
