Valentine's Marine

Terrible service center. I painstakingly rebuilt the carburetor and fuel pump on my Evinrude, yet it still wouldn't run right. Kept loading up and dying at idle speeds and wouldn't restart. Took it to Valentine's and told them not to look at the Carb or Fuel pump as they had already been gone through. They called me and told me that it was ready and that they rebuilt the carb and replaced the fuel pump!! I thought maybe I'd done something wrong (I'm not a professional, although I work on Marine engines quite frequently - this one has perplexed me). I paid $300 and left. Took it to the lake, and guess what? Same problem, and now I'm out $300. I'll go to another Service Center. Stay away from this place.

These guys have been great. I have brought my boat in on multiple occasions and it is always fixed quickly and done right and at a reasonable cost. They recently did an impeller, some wiring, a new battery install, and fixed a problem with my tilt/trim hydraulics and came in a couple hundred bucks less than I was expecting. I don't work there or know anyone there personally, just a happy customer.
