Valley Rental- (noun) rental agency that has no service orientation. Common practice of hanging passive aggressive printouts in lobbies of buildings, leaving voicemails, and texting. A valley rental has no desire to work around a renters schedule even after over a year of renting. (Ex... if you work nights and request that your apartment to be shown for a new renter in the afternoon vs. the morning, they don’t care, there is no customer service.) A one bedroom starts off at 815$ a month for 12 months than moves to $940 a month for month to month. This is an understandable jump in most cases, but steep when you take into account the lack of customer service, paper thin walls, aroma of cat pee in the hallways, and sound of dogs barking all hours of the day. For the amount of apartments in this city, you have many options to choose from rather than this mediocre, county fair, 2 star at best on google reviews company.

Good place but they take out rent late then the following month they take it out on time. It messes my bank account up and makes me short on other payments. Like recently they took it out on the 28th then came back around and took it out on the 3rd and in that short span I can’t afford to take out that much in that little of time

These people are a bunch of scam artist. Moved out after living in the townhouses for 3 years. I requested after 2 years the carpet be replaced since it was coming apart at the seams and they told me it wasn’t something they did while someone was living there. Moved out and got charged $1000 for carpet replacement! This is after I had already replaced the upstairs carpet myself! Everything was falling apart. I had to call multiple times for maintenance for things that should not of gone wrong. Filing against BBB on these people. Do not rent from them!!

Rented for years on two separate properties - I am a great renter. I moved to the second location, excited that they welcome pets. Urban Meadows. Enjoyable. At first. However, more and more new rules/restrictions are posted - this year we have had at least one new rule implemented during each of six months in a row. Threatened/charged constantly with fees. More concerned with control, rather than quality of life. Although I genuinely enjoyed the company for several years, I now strongly urge others to consider some of the newer companies that focus more on the residents' happiness. It's very refreshing to go to friends' apartment and see how easy life feels. As soon as my lease is over, I will be making a dash for one of those other companies' properties where coming home actually feels like coming home.

I originally moved into Valley Rental because it was one of the only places in town that accepted large dogs. I was excited to move in and loved the location. My excitement was soon crushed by all of the problems I had. My washing machine broke one day and I put in a support ticket. Maintenance came and said it was fixed, but the washing machine soon broke again and flooded my apartment...twice. The water seeped under the walls and into the carpet, so I'm sure there is now mold build up somewhere. They finally took the washing machine to fix and I didn't get it back for 3 weeks! During this time I had to go to the laundry mat several times. Valley Rental gave me a $5 credit "for my trouble." Five dollars barely covers one load of laundry at the laundry mat. I also had a leak form under my bathroom sink and my bathroom was flooding. I called maintenance and someone showed up to look at it with a flash light (on his cell phone) and a roll of paper towel. He wiped up a little water and called it good. I ended up fixing the sink myself. Snow removal in the winter and yard work in the summer is slow. I often had to shovel through large drifts to get my car in or out of my garage. Weeds in the yard get huge. There were once weeds in my front yard larger than the actual bushes. Be prepared to have very slow service if you live here.
