I honestly would never come back here. They had me sitting there 15 min waiting at a pedicure chair and they told me they were ready and they were not. So my feet were so cold because they didn’t turn on the water. Then when they finally did it was extremely hot, and after I told her twice she forced my feet in there anyways. When she painted my toes she didn’t separate them and just rushed through it. I’m just not satisfied at all. The polish is uneven, and already looks a mess. And this is why I don’t try new nail salons.
This is a really nice nail salon , I’ve been coming here ever since I moved to university 2 years ago . I’ve never been disappointed. There is a 15 minute wait but I’ve never had any of my nails break , my nails are always done correctly and neatly . if it wasn’t done neatly I’d speak up before I leave the store . I love it here the only nail salon I come to in Charlotte .
When I say I HATE my nails. I hate my nails. They gave me so many different prices only for my nails to come out looking like a 7 year old. $65 coffin shaped for thesepicture attached. Now understand I don’t have a problem with paying. But out of the 20 years I’ve been getting my nails done these are by far the WORST. she kept screaming medium size. WHATS MEDIUM about this. I’m very particular about my nails and these are the WORST. Don’t say I didn’t warn you but if you’re getting a full set go elsewhere. They look like PRESS ONs.
Overall my experiences at this location has been good. The inside is beautiful and very clean. I do like the points system that this location offers it is very different from other nail salons in the area. I would like to recommend a better check-in service system in place of the sticky notes. Maybe the owner can find a system that that will print the number and service for the client at the time of checking in and it will connect to a number caller that can keep the order of who is next. They do a fairly decent job however after my last observation they could use a better system in place to alleviate confusion. I gave this location 5 stars because their pedicure services offered along with their award system are definitely unique and has gained me as a new customer.
I have been coming to this salon for two years now, I never had an unpleasant experience which was something I had to speak about until now. I am the customer that comes in at opening, that don’t like the rush to avoid bad customer service. Honestly, the prices are fair compare to other salon, the customer service use to be consistent where they were very nice, greeted you, never had an experience where I had to question myself about coming here getting a service, taking rude energy from the tech that knowingly talk about you negative in their own language. The salon is owned by Asians and another partner who is not minority, The salon techs can be friendly at times. Forbid if you speak up for not liking how the tech did the work, techs will be quick to complaint under their breath in their language. The customer which is me can talk to the tech very calmly, very respectful, the tech and manager who walks around the salon barefoot constantly doesn’t take customer side. The manager is always on the tech side. This morning I had to verbally tell the tech to stop , she kept scaling off dead skin from my feet knowing that the liquid gel for the feet ran out, the crazy part she kept pushing to scrape, scrape , scrape. I told her to please stop, to put more gel, she tells me no. You need to come often, that’s all you get. Be mindful they are very portion control with putting supplies on your feet for pedicure. I had asked can you please put more. She said no pay more, tech got loud with me. Meanwhile other techs are looking, the manager get involved blame me for talking loud. I’m looking at her like I’m talking calmly. I told both the manager and tech that I don’t like her energy she’s negative I want someone else. It took them a minute to get someone else. The job was complete. I was very cooperative, I even tip the other tech who took over. My overall advice is to go to another salon . This salon don’t value their African American customers. Who are constantly supporting their business nonstop. Without us, they wouldn’t survive as a business. It’s sad that we support a business that talks about us so poorly in their language.Service: Pedicure
**WARNING! Toxic and hostile. They treat you so bad here I witnessed myself. Additionally, Nails broke in 2 days, two separate times… Overheard many complaints from customers about pain and they are very hostile to their customers. I got cussed out bc she didn’t want to cut my nail repair the same shape. And made me wait an hour. I quietly left. **Got me confused with another customer and accused me of appropriate behavior! All black people do not look the same!** Stop giving your money to these people. I can see why that lady was mad but it wasn’t me.
Venice is such a leisure I visited a few days ago for the first time in a while and thought to share some positivity! I love the exotic citrus pedicure, it’s my go to each time that I come. Lisa did an amazing job. She was engaging, personable and meticulous with her work! The atmosphere is so chic & relaxing! Such a pleasant experience! Thank you Venice Nails Service: Pedicure
When I first moved to Charlotte in 2019 I started going here. I stopped going when the owner started changing the prices everytime I went in. I decided to try going back my nails are short I always cut them down every other visit. I get SNS. The owner today again tried to up the price to $65 for basic SNS. If my price can’t stay the same for short nails every visit I’ll take my business elsewhere.
The BEST nail experience.. I came in for a polish change today after choosing a color I wasn’t crazy about at another salon. The manager was incredibly helpful! She looked at the picture I wanted and took her time to listen and make suggestions. Henry finished my nails and he was SO detailed! I didn’t feel rushed at all and they truly seemed to care about my experience thank you Venice at University!
My girlfriend and I went to Venice Nail Salon on a Saturday, with an appointment. We both got gel pedicures and manicures and ripped generously. My girlfriend tech was a male who was so rude to her. He charged her $125 for just an acrylic overlay— when she also told him one of her nails looked crooked, he ignored her and never fixed it. One week later, both of our gel polishes were peeling off and my girlfriends nail, actually peeled off her finger and now has to regrow her mail. ONE WEEK AFTER! We will never use this salon again. I recommend it on my past services, but this takes the cake. We spent good money to only have our nails fall off and peel off only a week later. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.Service: Pedicure
