Verde Pointe and its people are GREAT!! I've lived in several places in the DMV over the last 15 years. Verde Pointe is my favorite. First, the staff are great - helpful and kind. Lead by the leasing team of Lilian and Ariana, everyone is there when issues arise. Maintenance is quick thank you Christian, the concierage team is helpful, and the cleaning crew is always there with a smile! Second, the location is great for those who want to be close to the city and enjoy having a quiet neighborhood for an evening walk. It's 20 min walk to Teddy Roosevelt park, Mom's grocery store is stumbling distance, and the Metro is only 10 min walk. Just love the location! Third, it's not just dog friendly, it's dog welcoming! Many residents have dogs all well behaved and the staff are super welcoming, including treats by the front desk! Bottom line, if you're looking to be close enough for a 10 min commute sans traffic to DC and yet across the moat to escape on the weekends, VP is a great choice!
I have lived at Verde Pointe for a few years now. I have found that the current management is very responsive. Lilian and Ariana do a great job taking care of the residents and taking care of the property. Concerns are always addressed promptly. The property is kept clean and very well maintained. I like the roof-top pool and the gym that is available for the residents. Management stays engaged with the residents and are always pleasant. The location is perfect for commuting to DC for work and there is also easy metro access. The area is very nice and peaceful. Its also great to be able to go out on walks or ride my bike feeling safe in a very nice part of Arlington. There is an organic store right next door making it easy to get groceries as needed and a cafe that is located on the premises. I highly recommend Verde Point as a great place to live!
This place is truly amazing. Staff here are very kind and always have a helping hand. It is conveniently located with the I-66 around the corner and Court House Metro station down the road, you won't have a hard time to get in and out the city .Visited MOM Organic market a couple of times around the corner. The amenities the community has to offer are unbeatable. The rooftop pool is my favorite! parking garage right out front and a clean one at that.
Verde Pointe is a gorgeous building. The attention to detail is outstanding. From the interior design to the amenities makes it the best community I’ve ever seen in Arlington. The location also is quite great! You can see a lot of green from every window
This holiday season, I went to Verde Pointe to see my family. The structure is immaculate and tidy. The staff was nice and amiable. I'm happy they are apart of superb community :
You will find the staff at Verde Pointe to be very friendly especially the Concierge. After living at VP for the past 18 months the following observations are noted: Building security is an issue as non-residents gain access to the building when the front desk is not being staffed. There have been two gas leaks which have required the building to be evacuated and responded to by the Arlington FD. Frequently, Arlington PD respond to incidents just outside of VP. Occasionally, there have been people sleeping in the parking garage at night or on the street in front of VP. There is a persistent problem with rats located around the loading dock. Our appliances in the apartment are substandard and frequently require repair. Water pressure at VP is very, very low. The noise from I-66 can at times interrupt sleep. The landscaping is not being maintained and there is often times dog waste to navigate. Elevators are slow and at times hard to get due to heavy use. It took several months for the gates of the parking garage to get fixed. The most disheartening event was having our apartment entered by the staff while we were not home. We specifically coordinated a time verbally and in writing so we could be home while the staff was there. Our concerns were ignored. Rental rates are above market and neighbors have complained about rate increases at renewal. Suggest there are more cost effective rental rates at newer and higher quality building complexes located within a mile or so away. The turnover rate of residents seems to be high. Verde Pointe is showing its age. The living experience at VP is not what it use to be.
I lived at Verde Pointe for 7 years. Since the arrival of Greystar everything has been totally different at Verde Point there were hiccups prior to their arrival. My interaction with the Manager Lilian and Ariana has been delightful. They are always welcoming addressing all my needs on the spot. Indeed you feel like you are dealing with people and not just representatives of Greystar they make it such a pleasure to interact with them even if you are just popping in for a concern or question you might stay and chat about any variety of things. The building is kept clean and orderly at all times. Thanks to an incredible maintenance staff shout out to Andy and Christian for always helping out and resolving any issues. My departure from Verde Pointe just last month was a personal one which had nothing to do with my satisfaction as a resident while I lived there. I am incredibly grateful Greystar took over from the horrid people Murn who made life a nightmare for it's residents not the pleasure that it became under Greystar's management. It was a really difficult decision and I still miss everyone at the property. When choosing a beautiful building with a grocery store Mom's organic market conveninetly located across the crosswalk from the building look no further. There is easy access only a few blocks away from Courthouse Metro within walking distance to Clarendon and Rossyln stations as well. My experience there was a wonderful one and I am forever grateful that I decided to make Vere Pointe my home for so long. Thank you to Lilian, Ariana, Christian and Andy and to our wonderful conceirage staff Greg, Willy and Derrick who always welcomed one warmly and made it a pleasure to deal with them on a daily basis. If you are looking for a wonderful location in Arlington that is close to DC this is a property you should tour and feel confident that you will always be looked after and treated with understanding, compassion and make you feel at ease and at home. Sadly many properties I have lived at fail to do this but . Greystar and it's leadership at the property gets a gold star from a very long term resident. Thank you to everyone at Greystar for making my home such a positive experience always.
The staff is extremely friendly from maintenance to the leasing office. Verde Pointe is a beautiful building….i absolutely LOVE the rooftop pool and the area is very convenient.
Update March 2024: I moved from the 10th floor to the flats building above the MOM's organic market after 1 year. The price in April 2023 was affordable which makes me ok during this year's rent increase. The management changed again since then but the quality of this apartment stays well as usual. It is also interesting that half of the flats building above MOM's was sold as condos, so my neighbors seem to be more family focused. Review in 2022: When I first got my job, I spent 3 months continuously touring the whole DMV area and finally I landed at Verde Pointe. Great neighborhood, new building, and kind staff. Everything is nice but because there is nothing fancy everything is even more enjoyable. I highly recommend everyone to tour this place to understand what I mean.
4 months ago I requested maintenance to fix my blinds and they still haven’t fixed. Every 3 weeks I go to ArianaThe office manager to tell her to fix my blinds and she says “I’ll call you today after I check with the maintenance” and she never called me. Also their security is horrible. All the doors are open and the garage gate is open to anyone. Someone came in the garage last week and stole our car, and we called the police and we asked them for the camera footage and ArianaThe office manager Told me she would Emil the footage to the police. Then after 3 days I asked her if she sent it or not and she said “I don’t have access to the cameras”. And the police told us yesterday that all the cameras are not working. I just want anyone to know that the office management is terrible.
