Victor Hair Salon

If you know exactly what you want, Victor will do it for you quickly and with quality. It's on the expensive side (for my budget at least), but I guess you get what you pay for. Victor is quite experienced and anticipated and knew how to fix some problems I've had with haircuts in the past. However, if you want to try something new with your hair, I recommend going somewhere else as when I wanted to experiment a bit, I still ended up with pretty much the same cut. Would definitely be 4 or 5 stars, except Victor almost made my girlfriend cry when she came with me while I was getting a haircut. He repeatedly told her that her hair was "very bad" and she needed a haircut too, which she was already aware of and quite self-conscious about.

Thus is the only place in DC I will get my Hair cut. Victor makes you feel like family and does a great job!

Victor and the other employees are fantastic, quick, and to the point. They know modern male hair styles.

When you have super wavy hair that easily turns into a cotton ball mess, getting a good hair cut is tough. I'm convinced that Victor is the only one who can tame this crazy mop that sits on top of my head. No one has ever taken as much time to diligently layer my hair appropriately, and the results are fantastic! I'm disappointed when I see any negative review of Victor because I've been going there for 3 years now and have gotten to know him on a more personal level. At times, there may be somewhat of a communication barrier (which could cause problems for people who don't know him), but he is a fantastic barber and a great person who takes pride in what he does. Ultimately, I couldn't encourage you enough to give this place a shot if you're in need of a great haircut! I only request Victor myself, but I've seen great results from others too.
