There is always trash in the hallways and outdoor areas, management seems overbearing, utilities are the highest I’ve ever had because of old ac/heating units and drafty doors and windows that don’t close properly, locks are broken to apartment buildings making them unsafe, gates are locked at night with no code to get in or out so I have to go out of my way to use another apartment complex’s gate every morning to get to work, they will tow your visitors cars without a parking pass but security has never answered the phone to be able to get a pass thankfully I hadn’t been in danger these times, the hallways often smell weird, pest control has came into my apartment without any notice or even a knock due to an office mistake, and they refuse to shovel or put salt down in the winter even if it is icy and slippery or the snow is very deep. Apartments are a bit older and at first I thought they had some character but any charm faded quickly after moving in, definitely would not recommend.

Very dirty outside, buildings in disrepair. Homeless walking through parking lot at all hours, yet you can see visible security who does not seem to care. Common areas of buildings very soiled. When I went to visit my friend and her kids they told me of how someone was banging on their door at night probably a drunk coming home to wrong apartment. Pool is a little slimy, but better than no pool?

would not rent here i lived her for almost three years im not going to renew my lease after it expires next year people are loud no respect for after 10pm when city law is no loud noise after 10pm any day the property managers don't stay very long since i been here for 3 years there been 4 that have and gone we are now on 5th one the only pro here is that maintenance is always fixing they get on it and security does there best i know cause i used to work with the property's security. and its getting really high rent we started with two bedroom at 728 and now 748 and then if we did renew it would be 819 per month these Apts are not worth that much the owner just want more money and don't care

This place really needs done maintenance & security who makes you feel secure not like you’re doing something wrong. I visited a consumer patient here at a friends & did not feel that person was in a good environment. I was not feeling comfortable.

Clean apartment like new, painted and bought curtains for room got carpet cleaner, didn’t get deposit back. Lady in office also went in to look at apartment and told us what to fix/ clean. Bottom line is office lady told us everything looked great and that we would get deposit back. Today the letter came in and we’re not getting anything back and they’re still charging $10..

This place should get negative stars.. we’ve lived here since august of 2021 and it’s been nothing but problems. We’ve gone through 3 Managers since we moved in. We haven’t had A/C for weeks, and they know about the issue and have been “trying” to come fix it. We had to go spend our own money since it was 100+ in my apartment. They won’t reimburse us for it. And they might be fixed next week. But I doubt it.

Would not recommend, I did not receive my deposit on a shady 3month lease I did with the property manger at the time thinking it was legit, hell I paid the whole three months in advance and a deposit. But to make it all worse when I moved out they decided I owed them for cleaning fees, carpet cleaning feesthere was one carpet in whole house and it was in the room the floors were wood, I even got a few for moving out early??? 991$ is what they asked for. I do not believe anyone should rent with these people

If I could give negative stars I would. Property manager was SO eager to meet me outside of office hours to get the lease signed, but then I shortly realized she would no longer be of any assistance or help to me and the problems of the apartment given to me. There are racoons living in the attic above my bedroom. And after being told by people who work here and live here this problem has been going on for over a year and a half. When I brought the issue to management she pretended to not know anything about it. The racoons are still there to this day and my roof is now leaking to the point where three new water spots have formed and my living room is actively leaking water on to my floor and my belongings. Nothing is being done! I do not feel supported or cared for as a PAYING tenant and I do not recommend anyone moving here. You would be better off living in a shelter.

Villa Del Mar is the best apartment complex I have lived at. It has a fireplace new flooring and appliances in my unit. I would recommend them to anyone. Rental price is good and it is spacious. I love it so much. Come rent you will like it.

This flier was put on tenants doors today. It is literal bribery to get their reviews up. That should tell you enough. Villa Del Mar, Barclay Square and Waters Edge are all owned by the same corporation. Every negative review you see here is 100% true. but, maintenance will go above and beyond to help residents when they are allowed proper tools and materials.
