VIP Tires & Service

I was going to Acadia National Park for the week and when I stopped in to the Visitor Center prior to Bangor I noticed my tire was low. l stopped at a gas station and put air in the tire but noticed it was still leaking. I was told about VIP and I cruised right over. They were able to assess the situation and have me back on the road in about an hour. Great service and great work. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend VIP Tires and Service on Odlin Road in Bangor. Thank you everyone that was there on Saturday August 12, 2017. You helped make my vacation a positive one. I just noticed the response from the owner and you're welcome for the positive review. You have a good crew there. Keep up the good work.

If a zero or negative star rating was possible that's EXACTLY what this place would get! On Monday my husband called to set up an APPOINTMENT for Tuesday to bring my Jeep in. Tyler said to just bring it in. Brought my Jeep in on Tuesday for the check engine light and an oil change at 9a. They told my husband that they would call us with any changes. My husband, who works for the company (this week being his last, THANK GOD,) called at 2:30p to check in and they had supposedly had been slammed and still had not brought the Jeep in, which wouldn'thave been the case of they had just set up the appointment that we ask for. My husband then called back at 5p. They had brought my Jeep a little before close, but their scan took wasn't registered. My husband told Odlin Rd that we needed the vehicle back by the end of Wednesday and they asked what the hurry was. Wednesday (today) they said that they think that check engine light is due to an exhaust leak, but their not sure. My husband then had to call back at 5p, because once again no one felt the need to call us, and Tyler answered and told my husband that Brandon refused to work on my car BUT he'd pull it back in for the oil change that they still hadn't done in the TWO FULL DAYS they had it!

I have worked on vehicles for more than 30 years, not the last 15 as a job. Have managed service departments in large dealerships as well so know all aspects of the business. Gaining my trust is demanding in that business due to my experience. VIP located on Odlin Rd in Bangor is where and who I do business with. Multiple visits having diagnostics done, which are very accurate and honest. Having work done as well has been done correctly and professional. The amount paid for everything I have had performed there has been very reasonable, if not less than I would expect and has never exceeded the estimate given prior to work after diagnossing the issue. Highly recommend anyone and any vehicle to have work done at the VIP Odlin Rd Bangor location.

Reliable, friendly and FAIR. No other place to take your vehicle PERIOD! Updating my review as of 5/9/18, purchased new tires and one of them had a belt go in it, vip was quick to act and take care of it, no questions asked.

For some reason, this VIP didn't have as many supplies or items in stock as the one I usually go to. The staff was very friendly and very helpful though. Also, for the location that it is in, it's actually pretty easy to get in and out of comparatively speaking. Most businesses on Stillwater Ave and nearby are very difficult to navigate into and then get out of because of the traffic that is nearly always busy. So it was nice to be able to get in and out in under a half hour.
