Story

Since 1999, Vita Café has been serving the Portland Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-Free fare. We choose to use local and organic products as much as possible and strive to reduce our overall impact on the environment by focusing on using sustainable business practices.

We are open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $1 kids happy hour from 5 - 7 everyday. The Vita Cafe is not your standard "raw beet and rabbit food" kind of vegetarian place. We specialize in huge servings of filling vegan/vegetarian/GF style comfort food.

Specials:
- Kids eat for $1 from 5-7pm every day!
- Wednesday all night food & drink specials.

Try the seitan cheesesteak sandwich or our fabulous gluten free corncakes or perhaps our signature vegan biscuits and gravy.
