It takes over a week to get common prescriptions filled because they are constantly out of stock, such as asthma inhalers to anti-anxiety and insulin meds. Some prescriptions I can't refill that far out because of controlled substance, so I have to go days without medicine because their lack of taking inventory. This really made my doctor upset because I am on a graduated treatment plan and when I don't have my prescriptions filled in a timely manner, then it throws the whole process off and also causes me physical and mental problems from withdrawal, which my doctor is upset about as well.
They also are extremely slow when your prescription is filled. It's like the employees hate their job and 'just can't' attitude - can't move at a moderate pace for customer service.
They also ignore customers who go inside the store to refill over people in the drive-thru. It is better to go through the drive thru than to actually go into the store and shop around. And their refill over the phone never works or by fax because they never check it.
They also will send your prescription across town to their other store without your knowledge or permission. This was not an inventory issue. I have no clue why they did that and they don't know either (or just can't figure it out).
Rude customer service, boxes always sitting in isles blocking you from store products, and often out of common makeup supplies, like foundation, blush, nail polish.
In all, they are terrible at keeping items both prescription pills and other store goods in inventory, but for some reason there is always boxes in the isles like as if they are about to stock it.
No one was able to help me find the right shoe insole even with a doctor's note describing what support I need.
I would not suggest this pharmacy chain to anyone who needs their prescriptions filled consistently and in a timely manner or needs actual help picking out the correct non-prescription item.
They also have no knowledge of their vitamins. I have an allergy to a synthetic preservative and told the pharmacist, who told me to take a vitamin, which had this preservative in it (even tho the pharmacist looked at the ingredients) - it's something that is now listen on most things as free, or gluten free, or vegan or sulfate free, dye free, etc.
I've also purchased vitamins that the seal was open. I didn't know until I got home and unscrewed the cap and it was already punctured completely open, you could definitely tell it wasn't a manufacture defect, but a human finger pushed through the seal. I was only able to get store credit, even though at this point I was totally grossed out and preparing to take my prescriptions to another pharmacy.
Just horrible, go to any other pharmacy, Walgreens is the worst in town.

This particular Walgreen's was very clean, and a very good selection. We went in for just a few things and ended up finding some extra stuff because they have a little of everything.
They do take Google Wallet tap and pay here, but I had to enter a pin even after I tapped my phone.
