I am still trying to understand what brings people there. It is a little bit of everything, like food, cosmetics, office supplies, toys, greeting cards, alcohol, but pharmaceutical part is one of the most convenient. People who works there are great, always positive, polite, no wait time. Thank you!
The pharmacist was extremely rude. I called 4 times in a row and was left on hold 20 min each time until the phone disconnect. When I finally got the pharmacist to inquire about a refill my doctors office had sent over he said he didn't have time to answer my question and hung up on me. My doctors office was also not able to get through to Walgreen and I ended up using CVS down the road
What does this store do to their pharmacy employees?? Every time I have to call or pick up a prescription, they all seem like they hate their life. Never friendly always monotone, no positive interactions ever. Wallgreens pharmacy must be a miserable place to work.
Shout out to Byron the Pharmacist. After several days and hours of getting the run around on the phone with my Insurance company who was rejecting payment for my meds and giving many different excuses as to why it was an issue with how Walgreens was entering my Insurance numbers. I finally got Byron on the phone in a 3 way call with my Insurance company. As the call was entering the 2nd hour of trying to figure out where and what the issue was, I asked Byron if he was ok with still being on the phone and he replied he was in this for the long haul so that the Insurance would pay for my meds like they were supposed to. Byron kept with it and the issue was finally fixed and was the fault of the Insurance company all along. KUDOS TO BYRON!
Lori was very helpful and supportive of me as she helped me find everything I needed and even carried it up to the checkstand! She double bagged it for me and was just super kind!
I waited for my text you said you would send it every time we put order in and you don't! Whats wrong with telling patients when rx is ready?
Worst one. Too many slurs made at the pharmacy. Too many… meaning one was enough ! No one should be in charge or working here saying what i heard.
Spent 3 days trying to get my medications refilled. This pharmacy does NOT note accounts. I made John aware I'd be there the following day to pick up. My spouse went to pick up and I had to call and discuss my situation, again. I spoke to Jen and she very early into the conversation put blame on my spouse. I called again today and was told by Anna my medication would be ready in 15. I went to pick up and was told my medication was not ready and never processed. I was told to have my doctor call to give verbal permission for a refill. I called to follow up as I never heard back. The pharmacy manager took my call and told me he would not fill my prescription and if that was a problem I could take my business elsewhere. As frustrating as this was I am taking my business elsewhere because of how the pharmacy Manger spoke to me. Full conversation with Manger is not posted here As you can see from the review below. This behavior seems to be a trend.
*Unpleasant Checkout Experience* During my recent visit to Walgreens, I encountered some challenges during the checkout process. After greeting the cashier with a friendly 'Hello,' I was met with less than friendly behavior. I needed to redeem some Walgreens Cash and had to locate my old zipcode on my phone, which seemed to cause a nasty frustration for the cashier. As the line was forming behind me, I politely asked if she could cancel my five items to assist those waiting, but her response was quite curt and unfriendly. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and handled the situation with professionalism and courtesy.
Pharmacist was extremely rude to me today. Was accused of arguing for just asking questions. Never raised my voice, was never rude. Was only confused about something. I guess when they normally ask if u have questions for the pharmacist SAY NO! He will think I r argumentative. Then proceed to tell me I could then wait another 30 days to fill my prescription! As a “punishment” I’m assuming. Which they aren’t aloud to do in the first place. It is a medicine I need every month. Didn’t flip out in the store, when to my car and had a breakdown, confused, frustrated, and scared. Called my Dr. Whom by the way was talking to the pharmacist, who called to say I was being a “prob” needless to say my Drs know me. I’ve been there several years. Fixed everything. Told ME AND HIM he isn’t aloud to tell patients they have to wait for their medication because they are having a bad day. I actually went back to apologize for the misunderstanding.. This AS*HO** was still rude and said if I don’t like it I can go someplace else. Just unbelievable. If u hate helping people, and seeing them well GET ANOTHER JOB!!! Don’t ask people if they have questions, if u think your time is to “valuable” to talk to them DO BETTER WALGREENS!!!!!!!
