Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar

My most recent visit was really good. I ordered a burger with fries and a couple of beers. I also ordered the cheese fries appetizer, which is really good. I suggest extra jalapenos, but I like spice. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The service was decent as well. They were very kind when I asked to change the channel on a television near me. Overall, I recommend Walk-ons. It's a great place, and still pretty local.

I eat here often. Great place to meet friends for lunch, dinner or just have a drink. My favs are the burgers, turkey sandwich and the best salad in Lafayette the Zydeco Salad. All appetizers are great. Upscale bar food. Upscale waitresses wearing college style cheerleader uniforms (this is not Hooters or Twin Peaks) much more classier place, you can bring you whole family. They have a dinning area away from the bar. Inside and outside bar. Entertainment at outside bar on weekends. TVs in every wall like a sports bars should. Manager is always walking around making sure all customers are happy.

The appetizer we had was amazing. We had Devils on a horseback I recommend you try it. I don't really have much good to say about the gumbo that day but they were nice enough to take the extra charge off for it so I can't be mad at that. All in all it wasn't a horrible experience, we will most likely go again!

Me and my husband ordered the catfish and waffle fries along with the fried pickles everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely keep going when we are in the Lafayette area. We had no complaints what so ever.

Took forever to get waited on. My daughter and I were at the patio outside. When I got my salad it was soaked in dressing and daughter's food had a funny taste. When we wanted the check we had to go inside to find waitress so we could pay the bill. Have not been there in a very long time and might not go back.
