Story

We like to browse for glasses the way we browse for books in a library: happily, easily, and with a friend in tow. Boutique-quality prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses start at $95, while eyeglasses with progressive lenses start at $295. For every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. Come on in!

"Our prescription eyeglasses are crafted from top-tier materials and start at $95, and our advisors are on hand for styling and fit assistance. We also offer sunglasses, progressives, and a variety of contact lenses including our own brand Scout!."

I've bought glasses here twice and both times the quality and service were great. The biggest variety of size and shape options I've ever seen so if you have a hard time finding glasses that fit right you'll probably find the perfect pair here.
Super easy to shop at. Takes 10 minutes tops. Great frames. Friend my service. Better product than LensCrafters in 1/20th the time and 1/3rd the price. Go now!!
Just bought my first and last pair of glasses from this company. I had terrible customer service from a lady who know very little about what she’s was selling. Customer service isn’t hard to do for most, she’s struggling.
I have frequented this location often as my humans exclusively purchase all their optical here. I was forced to try on The Penny, because the humans just had to. I always get pets from the lab coat people and the other people trying on glasses or sunglasses. It’s always a great time here. All the people are all the nice to me. In case you were wondering, I don’t actually wear glasses or sunglasses.
Great place to shop for glasses. The service was fantastic as soon as you walk in the door. The place is very clean and pretty cool with the arcades.
Normally when I am picking out a new pair of glasses, I spent way too long researching and trying on glasses, and then second guessing myself. My experience at Warby Parker was totally the opposite! I did some online shopping and went in to the shop to try my favorites on, fell in love with the Haley frames, and ordered them within 15 minutes of entering the store! Plus, it was more affordable than going to other stores, even before insurance. I will definitely be shopping here for all of my future glasses.
Echoing Lisa B’s review from 5 months ago, this location’s policy remains “customers are prohibited from removing their masks inside even if briefly while trying on frames, and even if fully vaccinated”. They will give you a tray and a hand mirror, and push you outside with the temperature in the 40s on the sidewalk with a stool as a makeshift table. However, there is neither extra ventilation nor cleaning of frames in between customers trying them on, so their COVID-19 policies are consequently “just for show” and going through the motions. With all that said, their staff was helpful and obviously trying their best, and the glasses themselves were nice, as well. My hope is for corporate to get the memo.
We had a great experience picking out frames and purchasing lenses. The staff members had exactly the right combination of checking in to offer help and then letting me browse. They were truly interested in helping me find what worked for me and giving me feedback and ideas that helped me find the perfect frame. They provided the support I needed to get exactly the look I was going for! Thank you NW 23rd Portland Saturday staff!!
I usually rave about Warby Parker but my visit last weekend left me very disappointed with the Portland store. After driving more than 3 hours to get to the store I was told that I could not remove my mask to try on glasses while I was in the store. I was more than welcome to go outside in the pouring rain and use a hand mirror if I wanted to see how I looked without a mask on. Mind you, I am all about proper safety precautions during COVID, but asking a client to stand outside in the rain and juggle several pairs of glasses while trying to hold a hand mirror is a bit much. The store was not crowded at all and they could have easily directed me to the very back of the store to use a mirror back there. I would have been more than happy to have done that. Also, pulling down a mask for a few seconds is very unlikely to cause any problems. I finally got so frustrated I left the store and purchased my glasses from another optical boutique down the street where I had a very pleasant experience. Also very interesting was the fact that the WP employees were not sanitizing the frames after people tried them on.
I’ve returned to Warby Parker time and time again for glasses because they just do such a good job! Prices are fair, staff is friendly and willing to help adjust frames after purchasing, and space always feels clean. They make the process of buying new glasses seamless, would definitely recommend.
