Washington Jaw and Facial Surgery: Wei Guo MD,DMD

I needed a biopsy done, he instead gave me a strong sales pitch on getting an implant for a tooth he deemed wasn’t viable. My dentist assured me that it was perfectly viable. After insisting I wanted just the biopsy, he put me under anesthesia and when I awoke I had a large incision going across the top of my teeth with heavy stitches. Half my face was swollen shut for 3 days. After coming down from anesthesia and trying to figure out my surroundings is when I got handed the bill and I gave them my credit card which they charged $800. My insurance was charged $1600. When I went back to my regular dentist, they couldn’t understand why a simple biopsy turned into a surgery. My dentist said I didn’t need to be put under and that it wasn’t necessary to get the biopsy. They said a biopsy is a simple procedure that you don’t need to be put under for and said they would discontinue referring patients to him. I also was told I am ‘acting like a baby’ - real words from a professionals mouth - when I explained the anxiety I had about needles. There was also some funny business with how many time my insurance was billed for the same service, but my insurance handled that. I honestly feel like someone who came in wanting to replace the wiper blades, but to make more money, the mechanic convinced me the whole windshield needed replaced. Please steer clear of this office.

one of the kindest and most caring doctor we ever met. We got a phone call at night after the surgery to find out how my wife was doing. My wife asked a few questions and then asked,"what if I have more questions, how late can I call you?". The answer was 24 x 7. My wife asked, "seriously, how late can I call you?". Very eloquently and in a very sincere way, Dr. Guo responded, " 24 x 7". oh, after the surgery, my wife asked what if the bleeding continues after she gets home. The nurse said, " call us and Dr. Guo and I will come to your house to take care of it". Now how many medical doctors you know do this????? Highly recommend this place.....

We have a special needs son, Michael, and for him complicated medical procedures are overwhelming. Dr. Wei Guo and his professional team have managed to win Michael's heart and our families respect. His office has been extremely patient with Michael and very gracious in working with our financial needs. I highly recommend Dr. Wei Guo. Pat and Manfred Seidler

My Down Syndrome Son had Surgery .From the front desk to Dr Christie to his assistant everyone was wonderful and I would recommend this center for all. I give you a 10+ Thank you

Awful, Awful experience. In my life, I have never met such an incompetent, creepy, and malicious person. My poor mother made the mistake of choosing this idiot to perform her surgery for dental implants. During the surgery, people were rushing around the office, in a total panic, but wouldn't tell her husband what was wrong. He pulled all of her top teeth, and put in all of her implants, (even molars) in the same day. We now understand why that is not meant to be done. The healing process was brutal, and when a bump developed in her gums, she addressed the concern with him. He claimed it was just a bone fragment, and sent her home. She had to come back and complain again about the same problem, before discovering that this so-called doctor left two screws in her gums. He took an unbelievable amount of panoramic ex-rays, which as we all know is an unhealthy amount of radiation. She suffered for two years, with failed implants falling out, and all kinds of complications. After confronting him about all the many many ways he destroyed her mouth, all he offered her as incentive not to sue was two free implants on her bottom teeth. Trying to save money, she planned to do her bottom teeth with him, but she had multiple panic attacks because she was so fearful to go back to this butcher. She had the rest of her mouth done with a different surgeon, and had a completely different experience. No complications, only one panoramic ex-ray, and she was able to wear her denture with ease very soon. I can't even begin to explain what a horrible person he is. He ruined years of my mom's life because of his greed and selfishness. I also mentioned him being creepy... When I would go into appointments with my mom, he would rub my back while talking to me, and say very creepy and inappropriate comments. This man honestly should have his license to practice taken away for negligence, greedy decision making, and out-right LYING to my mom about her treatment and healing process. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR.
