Such a beautiful camp ground.Right next to a big water park. Children friendly . Nice walking path around the lake.fishing and lots of water activites . The store was well stocked with anything you nigh have forgotten. The cabins are on the waters edge and very colorful. We were just one night but easily could be a vacation destination. I would definitely stay here again. The check in staff were very friendly and told us about everthing going on.There is a reason they get to fly The Presidents Award Flag, they have earned it.

Check in girl was nice after she finished her cigarette. Asked for a site in a non congested area. We were put in a spot not near many, but unfortunately other people were letting their kids play all over the empty lots with a rubber ball. We moved to a patio spot, called to the desk to see if it was available, we were told it was closed. They said we could move to the other patio site, but it was across from the people letting their kids play all over the empty sites. Called up to the desk to see if we could stay in site 9 patio site, we were told it was also closed. I told the girl, you have this big rv park and so many of the sites are closed, she then handed the phone off to the other girl. I asked that girl what spaces were available in the front area away from the back, she stated only space 5, 6,7, 8 were available. Well 5 had a table in it, so we pulled into 6. As we went around the back of the motor home to hook up, someone had so kindly left their dogs 3 piles of poop on the drive. We then moved for the 4th time to space 6. This is a gimmick campground that is run down, weeds all in the camp sites, dog poop driveways, and they are not all open. Oh and we were told we could fish in the pond, but only up by the check-in station. But as we were driving around the camp site the many times that we did, there were people all over the other end where we were told you could not fish. Attached the pictures the dog poop in the drive. Just nasty!

This place was just OK. There was a pond that people can swim in if you don't mind swimming with fish and pond muck and chemically blue waters. The kids were the only ones to venture in. The restrooms were clean but the showers aren't adjustable and you have to keep pushing a button for water throughout your shower. The soap was also out for the entire overnight we were there. Nice playground for kids but no path to anything. You either have to walk all the way around or go through other people's campsites to get to the bathroom, pond or playground. No shade but nice looking cabins. The price was very reasonable but I questions the "Resort" status of this KOA. Not a lot to offer. We went to rent a paddle boat at 10 but we're told they don't usually rent things this early?! We had to wait 30 min for the cook/rental lady to finish cooking to help us out. Not very impressed.
