Great spot for fishing. Known as the " Crappie capital" . The Coosa flows through and makes a lot of the lake.Boat launches and public fishing docks are readily available in Alabama. Do not try to GPS to Weiss Lake as it will put you in an RV camp. Use a specific site or landmark.
