My family and I had a great time at Lakes Lanier. It was our mini stay cation. This is a resort style establishment , so everything we needed was at our fingertips. There is a variety of places to eat , located on/near the lake and numerous of outdoor activities to choose from. Bicycle rides, horseback rides, boat rental, even a foam party. I had a Great experience!

Awesome place to spend a day on a warm/sunny weekend or evenings. Nice lakeshore for a walk. Grill eat and relax with wonderful views. Artificial beach for having fun in water. If you like to enjoy some beach experience and artificial beach will do then this is the place to go.

First visit there and was surprised how nice it is! We got there really early on a Saturday to go fishing and some of the entrances don't open until 8 AM so just be aware and check before. Wasn't crowded but again we were there really early.

If your looking for a get away from the city or just your environment, this place is worth it. It may be a little bit of a drive depending on where your coming from but the drive will be worth it. Take a swim or grab your jet ski/boat and enjoy the water.
