I have visited Lake Tobesofkee several times over a 35 year period. The recreation areas have grown and improved significantly since I started going there.I look forward to spending time there with my grandkids so they can enjoy it too. Low cost fun, good man made beaches, good play areas for kids.

Excellent lake, clean and well preserved near the duck ponds. Campgrounds are a must see.

Stayed at the campground. Excellent prices and full hookups. Stay there every time we are in the Macon, GA area.

This place is gorgeous, and well worth the $3 per person entry fee (cards accepted), plus you can fish and there's a boat ramp. You can go next door and rent a boat or jet ski. There's a kids area, tons of seating, covered areas, bathrooms, and places to grill. I'm not from the area but found this place using GPS, lucky us. There is security and Florida fish and wildlife does patrol randomly, so be sure to be up to date with your license and the state's applicable catch laws. I'm not sure if it's catch and release or not, so that's something to ask. There's a nice beach area which includes lifeguard towers. I hear they have an epic 4th of July lights show and ither special events here. A nice place for a cookout and to get away for a day.
