We've been on this lake for 10 years and absolutely love it. It's busy on the weekends but the weekdays are quite a bit calmer. The water is refreshing as it's drained yearly by a water controlled dam. There are many summer events on the water like parades, poker runs, waffle board comps, etc. The are several places to camp as well. This lake is awesome. Pick your fun and enjoy!

Great lake. But I can't seem to catch any fish. Ilove this lake. Way more peaceful then lake Lanier but the fishes doesn't love me in neither lakes. Sad face.

Best lake in North Georgia, hands down. Lots of campgrounds, lots of facilities.... several restaurants on the lake to pull up to in your boat. Lake is beautiful and not often crowded. Love it.
