Beautiful lake great for fishing and water sports. Also plenty of beautiful houses to look at if you just want to cruise.

Beautiful. Grandparents have lived there since i was little. Lots of history scattered all about, clean, bald eagles spotted on the lake often, golf courses, beautiful homes, beautiful sunsets.

Great Lake for all sorts of water activities. It’s not overcrowded and there are lots of access points. People and the surrounding communities are very friendly with a mix of old and new businesses. There are several restaurants accessible from the water. Only caution is to heed the hazard warning buoys because there and areas with submerged hazards.

Lake Oconee was alot of fun. Very relaxing. We wanted somewhere close to home to take our new RV to. But first we had to go into town and pick up a few things. Very nice town and the Publix had everything we needed for the weekend. The KOA campground was very nice and the owners we're very friendly.
