My wife and I just joined not long ago, and I really like it. They have just recently done some work on their indoor pools, and while the lap pool isn't huge and it's a bit warm for my tastes, it's still not bad, and they also have an outdoor pool that will be better in the summer. They have a ton of weight machines and aerobic machines, as well as an 1/8 mile track..as a result, even when the parking lot is packed, I've never had to wait to use something that I want. All classes are included, as well. There are people bitching about the contract, but in my opinion, that's your fault for signing a contract you didn't read and understand. Before I signed it, I read it in full and asked questions about anything that wasn't clear and asked for a copy on the spot. The question about the 30 day registered letter was very clearly explained, and while I agree it's not as convenient as say...dropping off a letter or asking to cancel at the front desk, you agree to it in the contract, and if you don't like it, you shouldn't have signed the contract.

Overpriced. Not helpful at all if you move. They expected me to drive 20 miles to go to the gym and wouldn't give me a break for the last three months of my contract. Way better gyms out there.

God help you if you actually move and cancel your membership. If you call Wellworx and tell them you moved they won't cancel it. This is understandable as some may try to weasel their way out of one year contracts. However, if you send them your new utility bill as proof and a letter asking them to cancel your service, they will continue to bill you and send you a letter stipulating that the cancellation must be sent by certified mail. So, assuming you have a real job, you will have to leave work, go to the f****** post office, pay them an exorbitant fee to mail a letter that you have already mailed. This is a huge slight, in my opinion, and I hope the readers of this review will take my warning seriously.
