Horrible service. Wouldn't cut the metal I requested. Wouldn't sell any metal but a full stick of 12 foot. They had used cut offs on the floor marked used and she wouldn't sell any of them. Had a peace of 4' x 2" pipe in my hand wanted to buy it. She claimed it and the cut off on the floor were all samples. Buy your steel at the steel supply off of Trafficway in Springfield they cut what u ask and appreciate your business. And very affordable in comparison to Wheeler.

It is clear that this place is geared towards the professional bulk buying customer. Both times I have walked in to buy a small amount of metal they just seem like they don't really care. They will sell you a 10' peice of metal, but depending on the day and their mood they might not cut it for you to fit in your truck bed or your car. One time they did, one time they said 'we don't do that'. Last time I went in the guy at the counter looked like he would rather jump off a cliff than talk to me about metal. If you are customer facing with a walk in retail side, be more friendly. Unfortunately, I will likely be back since they are the only metal supply place that I know of. They do have excellent prices compared to Lowes or HD if you are an average guy just needing a few metal pieces. Just be sure to have a truck.

Customer service is horrible, I have to agree with the earlier reviews on that, but also the prices I was charged were 20% MORE than the website said. Buy your steel in Ozark mo.
