I have gone there by myself and have always been treated very well by the staff. Other restaurants have refused to seat me as a party of 1. The hostess lets me choose where to sit. But lets get to the point- the food is fabulous. FLAVOR. Thank-you

More like 4 1/2, but still excellent. Interesting menu, descent wine list, nice atmosphere. Superior wait staff. Wonderfully prepared food, quality ingredients and an overall great dining experience.

The food here is incredible and a little pricey. The warm atmosphere and willingness of the staff to provide a pair of reading glasses so I could read the menu made up for the price though. This island gem stands apart from the other restaurants on island because of the elegance and high quality of the menu served. Yet, all are welcome and made to fell like old friends when you enter. A "must dine" and worth the splurge on your visit to the island. And for those lucky enough to live on Block island, this should be your "Honey, I'm not cooking tonight" spot.

excellent food and a lovely setting. easily the best restaurant on the island. the baked garlic that comes with the complimentary bread is fantastic.

Best restaurant on block island! Started with complimentary fresh rustic bread and a giant clove of garlic roasted, served with olive oil. Scallop appetizer was phonomenal and melted in your mouth. Bruschetta was fantastic with great flavors and fresh ingredients. Grilled pork chop entree was to die for. Perfectly cooked and topped with a heavenly bacon apple slaw. For dessert i had the lemon marscapone cake and it was out of this world! Definately have to get an after dinner coffee drink which they have many to choose from. All the dishes seemed to go together in a beautiful balance and the flavors are something you will be thinking about for days after your meal. Waitress was an adorable eareopean girl who catered to our every whim with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor. You can tell the people who work here really love their job and it shows in every detail. Amazing amazing amazing establishment!
