Wolverine Secure Treatment Center

I don't know much about this place yet. But my daughter just went there today. I'm very sad and pray that she'll get through this and become a better person for society.

I was locked up here between 2005-2007. I was originally locked up at Holland House in Saginaw for incorageability and while I was there I had consentual sex with another boy the same age as me, because of this and that I was sexually molested as a child they believed I was a "high risk" to being a sex offender so was transferred to WSTC's sex offender unit even though I wasn't a sex offender. While at WSTC I was regularly molested by other inmates who where older then me and physically abused by the staff. They would make us walk in a line military style in cadence with our hands behind our back, if you didn't step in cadence the staff would tackle you and punch you to get you on the ground. When I would write my judge they would throw out the letters so he wouldn't get them because I was exposing the abuse they where putting me through. In November 2006 I went to court and asked my judge if I could have a home visit for Christmas, he said yes. Upon arriving back at WSTC from court they immediately locked me in my room for a week then told my PO that I tried to escape on the way back from court, a total lie. That got my home visit cancelled. These people are in a money business and not a rehabilitation business and they will keep your child there as long they can because every day your son is there is hundreds more dollars in their pockets. WSTC needs a legal investigation and to be shut down.
