Yats

My oldest daughter introduced me to Yats about 8 years ago on Mass. Avenue. If you like Cajun/Creole food with flavors and spice you need to try it. The price is good for a pile of food. See the pictures with names. The place is a chill casual spot. They serve the food on foam plates and with plastic utensils. The menu changes thru the week with a lot of the same entrees being on it. Just had the voodoo chili and it was awesome. I like most of the selections. If you want to try something different go here. This location is similar as all the rest, friendly people and good food. Always come back when nearby. One time my daughter was having a bad day and it looked it. The people at a different location downtown gave her the meal on the house so she would have a better day. They are all great people that work here. I've been to at least 4 different locations.

Curry/Cajun/Creole food. Good food, good price. If you don't like the consistency of curry dishes, you may not like this place. Worth a try though. I wish they had some steak or beef based dishes though, but otherwise it is one of my favorite places to eat for a quick bite to eat.

I love Yats! Awesome, affordable cajun food, unpretentious, simple and delicious. I usually get the smoked sausage, red beans and rice, with delicious garlic bread, but they sell drunken chicken, crawfish stuff, vegetarian dishes, and the menu varies. Very friendly staff and quick service. Very affordable, great meal for less than 8$. They have a large variety of hot sauces and spices with sealable containers for take out or dine in. Easy take out. I enjoy it at least once a week.

Yats is amazing! Their food is always delicious. They have bread that comes with your order, and we ALWAYS have to get extra because it's so scrumptious. They have vegetarian, gluten free, and organic options here. The staff is always nice, polite, and helpful. Want to taste before you buy? They will give you a sample of whatever you'd like to try. I highly recommend the black chili and the B&B. Also, can't go wrong with red beans and sausage. Try Yats today. You'll be happy you did!!
