Yu Garden Asian Cuisine

The service is always quick and friendly. And the owner respect our seniors. My 97 yo father-in-law always eats for free. So nice. And the food is great.

What can I even say. We came here not knowing what to expect and were blown away by the service and the flavor combinations. Sushi chef came right to our table to answer all of our questions about ingredients in the rolls we wanted, and then they were served with a beautiful presentation. We finished off with their smoked salmon fried rice. It sounded like an intriguing combo, but was very well put together and resulted in an astounding dish that we have since come back for multiple times. Yu Garden is definitely on our short list of places to eat, whether you decide on dine-in or carry-out.

We got tired of eating everything with green chilies in taos so decided to try Yu Garden. Food was good, nothing exceptional but good quality with good flavor. My favorite was the wonton soup and crab rangoon. The sweet and sour shrimp was very sweet, almost like candy. The restaurant looks dated, but clean. Service was good with attentive waitstaff.

Tried this place due to good reviews. I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, hot and sour soup and California tempura roll with spicy salmon roll for $23 before tip. Considering the location, the food was good. Try this place out if you are in Taos and are in the mood for Chinese and/or sushi.
