The perfect stop while on I-10. It’s 97 degrees outside and our generator isn’t working, so pulling in here for a 60’ 50amp site is just what we needed. Our rig is cool and we are happy for the rest stop.Location: 5/5
Great for an overnight stop but un-level gravel site #19 was a real challenge to become semi-level. Incredibly bright lights in the park, provides a bit of a sense of security, but not fun if you don't have blackout shades at night. Nice dog park, expected noise from the interstate, but truly annoying that there is no one on site and directions to *find* your site are not clear. Frustrating stay for $46 with a veterans' discount.
This RV park really is A Stones Throw from the Interstate, but please don't throw any stones at the Interstate. We pulled in, check in was quick, easy, and the gentleman who checked us in was very polite. The sites are clean, easily accessible but not level, bring blocks. The area was quiet, even being A Stone's Throw from the Interstate. Made a great over night stop for us.
I made a reservation to travel with my family and due to personal inconveniences I had to delay the travel date by one day. 26 hours before the check in time I sent an email requesting the change but nobody answered me. So then I wrote via text and they replied that they could not accommodate me because I was giving less than 24 hours notice. I explained that I had requested it before and they didn't answer me anymore. I wrote again asking them to respect their own policy but no one wrote me back. I feel I have been ripped off. That they have stolen my money.
Terrible experience here. We got there at 4:30 & the office was locked up. Had to use some sort of online check-in on my phone. I had made the reservation 5 weeks ahead online, but the online check-in app didn’t have an option for finding an existing reservation, so I booked and paid a second time in order to get a site for overnight. We were supposed to pick our own site & it was too tight so I texted Terri who told me to try another site. That one was too narrow for our slides. We looked for a site we could fit into & settled in after 50 minutes looking for a site. Terri texted we had to get out of that site. After a nasty conversation & texts from her calling me a liar about making a reservation a month ahead & accusing me of being at fault- like too fussy, we left. Exhausted, we arrived at a campground down the street & were set up at 7 pm. My point is: their online check-in is defective, there were no directions for existing reservations, & a campground owner or manager who insults you & makes you feel like you’re at fault is a horrible way to treat customers. We’ve arrived after hours in other campgrounds & directions were posted & clear. Terri told me she couldn’t be there 24 hours a day. I understand, but others have office hours & clear directions for finding your site when they’re closed. It wasn’t even a nice campground, narrow sites, not level, ants galore at some sites, dirt. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. 3 weeks later & she hasn’t refunded my credit card after reminding her twice! BBB is getting a complaint. I will NOT pay 83.00 for no site!
Loud at 8:40pm at night, until 3am. They left about 6am. Not even a picnic table or enough room to put out our grill. First time in a month long trip I feel unsafe. TV cuts out more often than not. Not sure if people charging electric cars are even paying customers. They were sleeping in their cars. Would never come here again. Do not recommend. We have another night paid for but not sure we will stay, that uncomfortable. Would not even rate 1 star. I should add though that Terri who was our contact on the phone was very nice.
We stayed there last night. Easy off easy on interstate. I didn't get the lady's name at desk but she was most helpful in directions to site. Bathroom was clean. Campsite clean. No complaints what so ever. We will stay again! Rooms: 5/5
Only good thing is convince to the freeway...but it's also noisy. One toilet, one sink, one washer and one dryer. Not all sites are level and you won't know if the site you selected is level until after you paid and checked in on-line because there is no one on sight to assist you. We saw people move to more level sites despite not having reserved them. Way overpriced for what you get. Might as well stay at the rest area just down the road.
We stopped for one night with class A Motorhome traveling from West Palm Beach to NOLA. Campground has a easy access fro I 10 and very well kept. Basic parking spots long enough- we had 72” pull thru for $42 as Good Sam Members. Terry is extremely nice and helpful- we didn’t have a car and she offered to drive us to town or pick up dinner for us ! What a kind gesture! We also have 2 border collies and there is pet running area fenced and secured. Definitely we will add this campground to our “approved “ staying spots for travel. Even site very close to highway- it’s pretty quiet.
Nice park. They are friendly, has a nice place to walk and a dog park. Price was affordable, half what we paid the night before at a KOA. Check out the local Mexican Restaurant. It was deliciousLocation: 5/5
