How do you go about to file a complaint, an investigation or corruption in this so called Hall of Justice. Lost files, cancellation and injustice service. Be aware of these judges and services coming out of tax payers.
Extremely rude and uncaring makes you wait unnecessarily even after you’ve provided all paperwork to the court clerk of the court. No regard for seniors or any time for commute.
I’ve been coming here for “family” law matters for FOUR years. Judge Jennifer Madden and Judge Elena Condes have been my magistrates and i must say there is nothing family oriented about family court. In 4 years here I’ve managed to have my kids taken and allowed to move to Florida, placed on child support, given visitational “rights” to see my kids 3 weeks a year, and get phone visits 3x a week. I haven’t seen my kids since June 2020, no action has been taken. I go weeks and months and a time not being able to see my kids telephonically, we are currently at 3 months. Neither myself nor the court has a record of what school my kids go to, where they live, or a telephone number for the “custodial” parent. And this is okay? And now after 4 years of completely removing a father from yet another black kids life, they tell me that now since the kids have been in Florida i need To file visitation complaints there…… alameda county family law is a joke, it’s so much easier to relinquish your rights, or just be a deadbeat dad. Please don’t allow these court folks into your business
Josh at the Hayward Hall of Justice County Clark’s office was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would give more stars if I could. Thanks for representing county workers in a positive light.
I looked on line and it said they open at 8:30 am. We got to Hayward and a guard handed us a yellow paper directing us to Dublin. We drove there and it was also closed. We called phone number listed and got a recording stating all county offices in Alameda County court recorders offices are all closed due to COVID! This is not on line anywhere I could find. Also why did the guard direct us to Dublin knowing all offices are closed? Is everyone crazy? This took from 9 am until 1 pm. Where are our tax dollars going for all this stupidity?
Everything is wrong with this place. Courthouse gives conflicting info. Judges and clerks don't know what papers to file. Officers advise wrong drop boxes. Original paperwork is now lost and can never be returned. Don't bother to do anything by yourself here. Just save your time and hire a lawyer.
I have been trying to get divorced for almost 2 years now. The reason it has taken so long is because I opted to self-file. Each time I've reached out to the help center I receive contradicting information. One person tells me to complete the forms one way, I submit them and then they're rejected. This has happened THREE times now. I've even been to court and have spoken to a judge, completed the forms exactly as he stated and they were rejected. I'm currently waiting for a call back from the clerk to tell me what I need to fix on my latest paperwork- it's been 12 days since we last spoke. Standard workflows and communication at this court are severely lacking. I hope that I never have to utilize this court system again.
I have spoken with 3 different clerk and been given 3 different answers, all in the family court division. The last clerk told me to "just call self-help." With Covid, the public has to depend on these phone clerks for info and it is frustrating to deal with someone who is dismissive and obviously disinterested in helping. Your salaries are paid by the public. More training in phone communication skills needed.
Unfortunately, it does not allow us to provide them 0 stars. I first went to obtain all the info I needed to file for my case. They provided me with a workshop- time and date, when I show up, they informed me that I was NOT on the list?! I showed them the paperwork they provided me with, all he said was you're not on the list. PERIOD. No customer service, no empathy, No apology. I was able to attend to their upcoming workshop, they checked that everything was filled out correctly, I went to turn in my paperwork and asked the clerk for the next step. She tells me they will contact you, I'm waiting 3 months later only to find out that she NEVER scanned all the documents and they have been waiting for me to "complete" the papers. WHY DIDN'T THEY CONTACT ME, A SIMPLE' HELLO, WE NOTICED THAT YOU TURNED IN ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS BUT WE ARE MISSING 2 PAGES' I explained I turned in all the papers in the packetsstill stapled once AGAIN, they couldn't apologize for THEIR mistake! NOW, I have to go AGAIN take a few hours off work.. AGAIN and take them my copies, because they don't the originals anymore?! The clerk lost them! She scanned them but doesn't know which file???? What kind of run down place, management is this? TRAIN YOUR STAFF. We trust you with our information and they are mistreating it??? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Alameda county staff are great People Easy parking across street Very clean nice wide hallways They help if your handicap. Nice experience go early If am appointment there is a line. Help desk near elevators The staff really helpful Snacks stand near eleavator.
