My experience with AADOM has been nothing short of AMAZING. It is an organization that recognizes our profession! I have worked in dentistry since 1984 and AADOM is my #1 resource for all things on the administrative side. Their annual convention is spectacular. The education is geared for all levels of office administration. They also have three levels of distinction; Fellow, Master and Diplomate. I was proud to achieve each one of them. Dentistry has been my career and I am so very thankful that AADOM has assisted me in reaching my career goals and beyond. The networking that AADOM has provided me is amazing too. I have met so many cherished friends all over the country. When we gather at our annual conference, it's like a family reunion. And I love being a part of our local chapter to network with members of other dental offices locally. AADOM provides webinars, on demand classes, a forum, podcasts and live educational opportunities. AADOM is an amazing professional resource for dental office managers along with Dentists and the rest of the team. Joining both the National chapter AND my Local Boston Chapter has been life changing for me because I met some of my closest friends and confidants through being a part of this organization. I also have developed my professional management skills, which has boosted my career to new heights. I enjoy staying “in the know” of the industry through excellent courses and continuing education. The support I get from OMs around the US and world is invaluable. The yearly conferences are a MUST!! So much fun to have several days dedicated to celebrating us. Also, I need to give a special shout out to the entire AADOM team that works wonders behind the scenes to support each and every one of the awesome members. Amazing organization! AADOM has changed dentistry through the work they have done to support Office Managers and Practice Administrators on the administrative side of dental practice management. They offer continuing education, member support, networking, and an AMAZING conference each year. A worthwhile investment that you will benefit from tenfold. I am so happy that I have become a part of AADOM. The resources alone are worth it, but the fact that I am able to connect with other office managers and get feedback for questions I may have or ideas is wonderful. I love the fact that this is an extension to my dental family. I have gained knowledge for both personal and professional growth.
AADOM is one of the best support groups/organizations there is for dental managers! I totally support this group 110% and I'm so lucky to have become so close with several of the members! It's the absolute greatest place for dental management, colleagues, doctors, assistants, and other dental professionals to come together as one and spend time learning and exploring new measures that will help their practices succeed in the business industry! 110% RECOMMEND!
I manage Dr. Carol Kirkwood's practice and she is the one that introduced me to AADOM. I have found the support of AADOM to be fantastic. I have only attended one convention, sadly, as I found it to be one of the best and most organized I have ever attended. Love how AADOM really encourages you to engage with all the other members, Drs, assistants and hygienists throughout our meals as we learn so much from each other while enjoying great food. Speakers are well chosen and cover plethora of topics. The online resources are endless as well...AADOM ROCKS!
