Bronze, Silver Age, back issues hunters you won't be disappointing. More then 30 years in the business. John hands down have the best inventory ranging from keys to dollar bins. Fairly priced, my go to stop in Chicago. Prepare to leave with a short box filled!
Great store & John is a wonderful personality to talk to. Your interests are his interests. By all means get your favorite comic books at his store. Treats customers as friends. Only business in town that remembers my cousin, the late man of a thousand voices, Paul Frees!
This is the best comic book store in Chicago-Land, conveniently located to the Kennedy Expressway and the CTA Blue Line. The Owner knows his stuff; the shop is well stocked with back issues. If you don't see it, the owner will find it for you. Frequently, a wonderful spot for engaging conversation!
This is by far the best comic book shop in Chicago! I have not been to a comic book since I was a kid as most of them have sadly closed down so I just went too buying online BUT THATS OVER WITH, I will definitely be buying all my comics here from now on. Huge, Organized selection of comics I mean seriously the entire store is comic books with a small display shelf in front with some funko pops inside. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and a nice guy, he was approachable and had no problem assisting me with what I was looking for. Like I said before this has became my go too spot for comics from now on, buying online has become a thing of the past.
Went here looking for well priced back issues based on word of mouth from Wisconsin friends. Was not disappointed! Was able to fill in some holes. Will stop by again the next time I'm in the area.
This comic book store is well organized and staffed with a knowledgeable owner. He's able help you find the comic you're looking for if it's available. A good selection of everything from new to old. Easy parking right next to the building. Back issues sell as low as $1. Lots of toys and graphic novels as well.
Excellent selection of bronze and silver aged, plus large size e.g. Warren Publishing. Will come back on my next trip to Chicago!
Took my 12 year old son here for national comic book day. They were giving away 2 free comics per customer. They had a large section of comics and the owner who was present was very helpful and friendly. Nice to have a neighborhood comic book store. You can park on Harlem right in front of the store for free. We'll be back!
I feel my experience at this store was one of the best I've had in awhile. Many comic shops don't take care of their guests with proper hospitality, almost sounding annoyed at the request. The owner was very friendly and helpful in finding me everything I needed. The selection was excellent as well, all organized properly by their titles. I recommend this to any real fans of comic books.
Very happy to have Atlas Comics back on the northwest side. The owner is really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have an extended back catalog selection vintage comics as well as current books, trades, etc. highly recommended. Parking out front and easily accessible from the highway.
