We arrived in Springdale late in the evening and this was one of the few places still open for us to grab some dinner. If you just need sustenance like we did, this place suffices. However, as far as Chinese food goes, it’s not great. There was no creativity in the stir-fries that we chose cashew chicken and beef with mixed vegetables. The sauce was exactly the same, so while we thought we were ordering chicken and beef for a bit of variety, there was no difference in flavour, which was boring. The chow mein had its own flavour, at least, but it was a little sweet. I think Panda Express chow mein is better.
We only stopped in for some quick hot soup as it was pouring down. Small place, looks a little dated, but we had egg drop and Wor Won Ton soup. Both are very good, especially if you add a little hot sauce. Could do with a little background music though.Food: 4/5
$120 for lunch for a party of 4 people. They automatically added a tip to the check. The server was blunt and you wrote your order down on a piece of paper. Food came out fast, but wrong. Seemed like some was microwaved and some was cold. Food was served on paper plates and we were given plastic forksNot one person In the place when we came in, both workers sitting on phone, should've known better. You have to go to another building to go to the bathroom as well.
We found an ant in the steamed rice. It was reported, and we got a lousy excuse of how It got in there. We were told It probably flew in, but we reminded them AGAIN that it’s a bug without wings so it did not fly in. We still paid for the meal and we didn’t even get an apology for finding a bug in our food!
Only Chinese place in town, serving portion is measly and they charge a premium for each meal. Food is decent but the price is outrageous!Food: 4/5
There is nothing good about this place or food. Ordered orange chicken, shrimp singapore noodles, chicken fried rice and kung pao shrimp. Had a hard time finishing any of those. Orange chicken, by far the worst i ever had and kids didnt even touch it after one bite. The food is served and brought in disposable plates. Ambience was okay but after tasting food, i didnt feel like leaving a tip. The person seemed to not care about customers' experience at all. It is a cash only place. They probably own the place and are least bothered. The person gave exactly 2 fortune cookies and said it was for kids. They smelled stale and i couldnt let my kids eat them. They were dissappointed. Never coming again nor recommending anyone to go here. Save your bucks, save your temper. I lost mine.
I thought I left a review for this place a few years back but it disappeared for some reason. We went to Zion again recently and I couldn't for the life of me find this place again. My boyfriend and I ate here probably 3 or 4 times out of the 5 days we were first at Zion and we loved it. The Owners are the only ones working and they were incredibly polite and friendly. We had a lot of extra requests for our food and they didn't mind accommodating at all. Didn't even charge us for some of the extra changes. Food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We'll definitely be going back the next time we go to Zion. Edited for old photo I found.
We came here after our hike at the Zion Narrows and it was the best decision ever! you just want some good old hot food with lots of taste and heart! We ordered the hot and sour soup, Mongolian beer and Cachew chicken. It was really good and def recommend everyone to eat here. I usually take pictures but we ate it right away. haha. enjoy!
The walnut shrimp is very good, I also recommend their noodles and fried rice. Everything here was very tasty, though a little expensive, but not out of line for other restaurants in the area. The people working here were very friendly, and the food was pretty quick to come out despite being very fresh. Easy place to call ahead and get an order to go are show up and dine in.
I walked in the place smelled like dirty mop water or something unclean, I opted to sit outside because of the smell. I ordered the orange chicken and it tasted like a bland lemon oddly enough the flavor was terrible. I opted for lo mein instead of rice. It was decent but kind of dry. The meal was $15 I guess since I opted for lo mein it went to $20…. With water. This was a small portion at lunch time. Wouldn’t recommend.
