Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant Springdale

At first it doesn't look like much, but at the back of the grocery store, there's a seating area. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. We got the carnitas and pollo asada tacos see photo. The owner is friendly and this place has been a staple in the local community for over 25 years. We will definitely come back.

We had tacos, pupusas and tortas, and everything was delicious. The chorizo was spicy and full of flavor. Highly recommended this neighborhood spot. Owners and staff are welcoming; service is solid. Can’t wait to go back!

Best carnitas I’ve ever had! My husband got the Don Pedro sirloin tacos and they were absolutely amazing!!! We also got chicharrones and guacamole and it was so good! Best service and the nicest people ever!

The attention, the taste, everything is just on point, as an authentic mexican i 100% approve the carnitas, you HAVE to try them!

I really needed an excellent home cooked meal today and I got it. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. You may think you'll get food poisoning here but all you will get is food love!! Why? This is really a Mexican BBQ joint run by a nice couple who's parents are from Michoacán Mexico. They don't serve much but what they serve is perfect. Their meats are slow smoked on an outdoor smoker. They grind their spices by hand so it's always fresh. The adobo sauce is some of the best in Texas. I know we're in Arkansas. This is a place that I would treat myself to at least once every two weeks if I lived here. I think anyone in this town would become a happier person if they ate here once every two weeks.

Excellent food. I had the tacos and gorditas. There was a lot of meat in each, almost too much, but I will never complain about that. These were some of the best tacos I've had.

I was born and raised in Mexico City and have lived in both Texas and Arkansas for over 20 years; and this is the first restaurant that I have found that makes true Michoacan-style carnitas. SO GOOD!
