We visited mid-week and it was delightful. The front desk Kristen was very accommodating, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. We ate in the dining room and had a lovely outdoor dining experience. The menu offered an interesting range of items. I am sure that anyone would find something that they would enjoy. I also liked the breakfast menu. All of the staff that we encountered were excellent. I would unreservedly recommned Baron's Cove.
Every time I stay here I’m reminded of how beautiful Sag Harbor is, and how fantastic the staff, the food, the location, the view… One of the best experiences is the Nespresso machine in all the rooms. The restaurant is great and food, delicious. However, don’t believe them when they tell you the room service menu is exactly the same as the restaurant – it is not. The restaurant menu is extensive. A real pet peeve I have with staying in Baron’s Cove is The lack of smart TVs. If you want to spend the evening relaxing in your room, your options are extremely limited. I will keep coming back because I love it here! But please upgrade the TVs. Every staff member here is amazing, especially the front desk folks
Wonderful place to stay! Perfect location, easy walk to town. Best part was how professional and attentive, Kristen, at the front desk was. Any little problem she was there to solve always with a smile on her face! Kristen helped make our stay the perfect mini vacation. Can’t wait to return!
We had such a lovely stay this past holiday weekend Presidents weekend. The staff was so accommodating to our dog as well as the unexpected addition of my parents crashing our getaway. Would and will come again. Grateful for their top notch hospitality. Much appreciated.Rooms: 4/5
We paid over $1,200 a night to stay at Baron's Cove, yet when we arrived, we found ourselves placed in a tiny room overlooking a parking lot. Our view was of a dumpster and a makeshift repair shop for the bicycle maintenance. The dumpster stunk of sour milk. While the main lobby and bar are nice and the pool seems nice—and there is a marina across the street—our room was so incredibly disappointing that I'd never recommend this place. About half the rooms face backward, with no view of the marina, overlooking a parking lot. Wow. I would have expected much, much better for the price. Follow up: After the manager responded to my review and promised to reach out separately to make things right, I never received so much as a text message or email. So, apparently they post these promises for social media but don't follow up with the actual customer. Figures.
Adorable!!. Love the waterside setting. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Housekeeping is amazing - they service rooms twice each day and do a great job. Thank you for a nice stay!
Honest review of the good and bad here. Good: Everyone I met was extremely friendly and eager to help. The bar and pool staff were amazing. The location is perfect with a quick walk to adorable downtown sag harbor. The bikes I used daily and were always available. I liked the shuttle option to the beach but I get car sick. The pool area itself was very pretty. The outdoor seating for each room was perfect and I had coffee out there each day. My room was very clean. Oh, and there's ample parking. The food was also great and the wood burning fire each night in the lobby was perfect. The bad: The room itself is a 3 star room in my opinion. For the rate they are charging, the linens should be higher end, the bathrooms larger, blackout curtains available, central AC instead of wall units. I was awoken each morning by the sun at 6am even though I had my blinds shut. Not exactly what I was hoping for on my vacation. I was also constantly warm in my room as the wall units only blow so far. The water view is more of a marina and there's a street between so it's not direct view. I didn't love that there was no hot tub, nor that the beach shuttle stopped at 5 wanted to see sunset. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I stayed at many nicer hotels for the same rate and next time I'll probably stay at the beach.
2nd time here. Restaurant was amazing. Had mussel, they were the large ones, not the little you usually get. So good! Service was perfect!! Highly recommend!!
We arrived early, before check in time....yet we needed to quick change for a function we were to attend....we were given a key and directed to walk to spa area to make our changes. Disappointed on the late check in policy, but loved the place.Rooms: 4/5
This hotel is an excellent destination in the Hamptons. We love the loft-style rooms overlooking the harbor. The hotel has a great cocktail bar buzzing with a beautiful Crowd night after night. If you are traveling with kids, there is a gym and a pool-As well as tennis courts and a basketball hoop. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed-- a fun place to be!
