A local, five generation farm in the heart of a thriving community. We want to offer an authentic farm feel when you come to visit our shop.
Just your friendly neighborhood farm that has adapted to change. Once a prosperous dairy farm, Basehore Farm has evolved and begun to practice new avenues of farming. When the cows were sold in 1998 dairy farming was becoming difficult. Seeing an opportunity a few years down the road, we began growing produce and selling it out of our market. Each year we would continue to gain customers and have the ability to expand our market. We now have a greenhouse and sell christmas trees in the winter season. We open in the spring with spring produce and flowers, as we transition to summer our produce changes. As we near halloween we get busy with pumpkins and all the items that pertain to fall. We end our season with Christmas Trees! We are then typically closed January, February and March.
