We really enjoyed our stay the camp had a lot to do! The bathrooms and laundry facilities were spotless. The cleaning woman was very nice and helpful with the questions we had. The only complaint I had is we were there only 12 hours and were expected to make a decision on buying the camping/ vacation package. I think you should let people stay a few days and then they can make decision. If I was offered the one time deal at the end of my stay I would have done it!
Spacious sites, most level. Lots of activities scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday with 2 club houses, 2 pools, on-site store, bar and cafe with great drinks and food at great prices, dog park putt putt golf, horseshoes, basketball court, playground, lake for fishing, boating, kayaking & canoeing. Very nice! The only negative is the park roads could use some work to fill potholes.
When we can get a site, it's a great place to camp. Lots of activities and the buildings and grounds are kept very nice. Entry road could use some work. We've been members since 1999 and have a very hard time getting a site throughout the season.Service: 4/5
We spent camping in our RV at this campground last year. The place was vibrant with the spectacular color of Fall. We even explored its lake in a boat, just before the boating season ended. From here, we visited Lake George, Fort Ontario, Lake Placid and we had memorable experiences at each of these places. The staff in this campground were very nice to us; so were the other campers who helped us every time we needed help. Some of them even gave us firewood.
Pretty far for me and my girlfriend to camp at but I love teh workers there and it is very fun staying here. Some of the rental RVs have horrible beds and broken utilities in them though so look for that before you sign anything.Rooms: 4/5
Received promotional sweepstakes in the mail stating you have a chance to receive these wonderful prizes. Even put in a 'special' electronic sweepstake VIN reader with a scratch off circle to see if you won. Of course it matched and all I had to do was contact this toll free number provided and travel to this resort and sit through a 90 minute presentation and tour to see which prize you won by matching the number to the 'official' game board. Could smell a timeshare scam and read the fine print in the back which, sure enough, confirmed my suspicions. A quick Google search reaffirmed it. Seems like they play fast to get timeshares sold with lots of promises but with few results. Avoid!
Great Family friendly camping. Playgrounds definitely need updates and repairs. 2 pools well kept and clean.
Would have given it a higher rating but felt like we were treated like dirt when we told them we didn't want to spend anymore money on the cost of our fee to be a member. The lady just decided then we were not worth her time and the free up grade I was told we were getting was a joke as well. After spending what we did to be a member I think we should at least be treated with a little more respect.
We enjoyed our stay. The campground is meticulously maintained, sites are spacious, rowboats and canoes can be borrowed at no charge. Salmon falls nearby was well worth the visit. Not much else going on in the area.Service: 5/5
It’s really cool that they have two pools, two club houses, putt-putt and playground. My 5 year old had a blast.
