When furnishing our lake house, I took my ideas & met with the designer Elena. She helped me pick out beautiful furniture that created the look I was after, made sure I ordered correct sizes based on who would be using it most, & assured me storage would be no issue since we weren’t exactly sure of timeline to build completion. Now everything is delivered and it’s just perfect. Love the furniture and quality. Thank you!
THE BEST DESIGNER in Greenville SC – DIANA SAN MIGUEL. She designed a room that makes me feel excited when I walk in. However, the room is also practical for our fur baby’s nails and shedding. . As much as I love the room, I loved her approach to customer service and design even more. Diana led me thru all my options from the clearance room to a beautiful leather sofa. She asked questions and took the time to listen to my needs. She immediately understood my requirements since she also has a fur baby. The experience was more comfortable and just as creative as my experiences with other expensive designers. She presented several creative options and gave me the tools and space to select one that reflects our personalities and taste. AND .... the design service at Bassett is FREE. I did select the most expensive option, but I did on my terms and without feeling buyer’s remorse by a high-pressure situation. A high-pressure salesperson is a major turn off to me and especially my husband, even though we had a generous budget. High pressure sales drove us away from another store directly into Diana’s arms. What a blessing! I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, however Diana is worth it. I almost don’t want to share her with the world because now I’m ready to do our master bedroom :
I had bought a chair that I just loved at Bassett Furniture, but once I got it home I realized I had made a mistake in picking the chair out.I went back to the store to talk to them about it and the manager and the interior design consultant were both wonderful and helpful.I picked out another chair and it was not right either because I had made another mistake in choosing. I was not talked into buying either chair, I just didn't take long enough to make the right decision. In the end, I asked for a refund and was given one with no hassle whatsoever. I have bought a good deal of home furnishings from Bassett and I will continue to do so. They have been wonderful to me, from the receptionist to the designer to the manager.A great team with high quality furnishings!!!!!!
Would not recommend Bassett to anyone. We walked in wanting to look around to see what they had to offer. As soon as we looked at one couch in the front we were greeted by a a sales person and quickly asked us what our budget was which we had no set one as we were not sure exactly what we were wanting and gave a rough estimate on what we may want to spend. She quickly talked us down and took us straight to the clearance section and told us this is what we could afford in that range in which the clearance time was more than some of the items on the show room floor! The lady continued to talk us down and would not let us look at anything but the one couch she showed us as we could not “afford” the others. I was very disappointed will not be going back there again.
Stay Away! Overpriced and wish I could say more but after over three months bed still has not arrived. Called several times and this last time was told to call back in two to three weeks to check on our order. I could not even get a new estimated deliver date since we were told it would be delivered by end of November or beginning of December latest. Now December 8 and they tell me call back to check in three weeks! Crazy. Also I know understand why they have a no cancelation Policy on ordered items. Absolutely unbelievable. Should have read the other reviews first. Very similar complaints.
The product looks like what we ordered but we paid extra for firm cushions and, as a family of two adults, having had this large sectional under six months, we have sagging In multiple cushions. We also have a creaky spot in our couch already. We take great care of our belongings and cannot believe that For $6,000 This is what we get. Could not be more disappointed.
Customer service is helpful when dealing with not one but two errors from a “great quality” furniture store. We ordered a sectional, only half of the piece was delivered due to the other half having wrong fabric and wrong legs. We waited 18 days to get the other half of the sectional and now we are waiting for yet another replacement due to them using diffident material in the middle cushion. Customer service has been helpful but at what point do we get good quality the first time around from a pricey furniture store that is supposed to have excellent quality
Really great experience. We've looked at furniture everywhere, and were very impressed here. We hate pushy sales tactics and never faced that here. Instead we had high quality help from a great designer, Jennifer, who got us exactly what we wanted at our own pace. The team is extremely professional while still being fun to work with, and so far the furniture quality has been great.
So, I’m just gonna be honest here... because this continues to bother me and I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake as us. Purchasing from Bassett was my biggest purchase regret so far in Life. This furniture is not worth the money. My world market sofa has held up way better and was a fraction of the price. We bought a custom leather sofa and a recliner chair, both arrived damaged but I didn’t realize just how badly. I was pregnant, so I didn’t inspect every inch as closely as I should have because I couldn’t move the chair once it was in place to inspect it better. But when they delivered the sofa and chair, I did notice some damages which I remarked on but had I seen the extent of the damage I wouldn’t have let them leave it. They sent out a leather repair tech who fixed some areas but noted a huge tear In The leather that had been repaired poorly. It’s now all I can see. It’s been several years and All I can see is this giant crooked line in the back of the chair. . Eventually Bassett stopped responding to my requests to have repairs done. The repair tech pointed out so many problems... I just think we got duped honestly. I think this set was either returned from someone else or I guess just damaged and they were hoping we wouldn’t notice. Ok, you win Bassett. The furniture has not held up, the armrest is completely wrinkled leather was not stretched correctly since we received it, Which has had nothing to do with anybody resting an arm on it which is what they tried to tell me after I had only had the furniture for 1 week. The leather is pulling away from the sides revealing the metal frame. This furniture gets very little use I should add. I would also like to add that once the purchase was done, the sales rep seemed completely unconcerned with my problems so keep that in mind Just throwing it out there that they aren’t any better than any other furniture store. Plenty of friends have furniture through years of heavy use from kids and pets and it looks better than our few years old furniture from Bassett. Learned a hard lesson. Don’t spend large sums of money on furniture, you don’t need to, at least not here. You won’t “get what you pay for.” Hopefully I at least save one person from the same mistake...
Over priced and one of the reps named Michelle was very rude. Michelle Made a comment about our family that was very rude and came out of nowhere.She then proceeded to laugh after the comment.Won’t ever go back or give this place any of my money.
