A really good selection of beers and spirits made on location in a very cool old barn that was used as a Confederate Hospital--definitely check this place out if you're in town! The red ale was excellent, cocktails were very good, food was fresh ordered the grilled chicken salad special, and the service couldn't have been any better.
Just FYI don’t go by hours listed outside on the property of the brewery and their own voicemail as they are wrong. Look on website. We accidentally showed up on Tuesday thinking it was Wednesday so we planned to come back on Wednesday only to show up at 4:15 to music playing inside and the phone ringing with no answer. Checked website to find closed. Apple Maps and their own voicemail will show open wed-Sunday. Google shows them open Thursday-Sunday. Website only says Friday-Sunday. Was really looking forward to trying this brewery but if they can’t even update their own hours on their own information, probably not worth it.
So we should have taken the hint when we pulled up on a Saturday a little after 5pm on a holiday weekend and there were only 3 cars there that this was not a great place. 1st beer I ordered they said was "down" so choose something else. But then I think that beer should have been "down" as well. It was warm, had no carbonation and was watery. I could not even finish it. Tried the sweet potato fries and they were soggy. I would saythis place should be a pass.
Stopped in while visiting for Gettysburg Pride 2022. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were only 2 beers on when we were there and both were just okay. The cocktail flights were much better. We enjoyed all of them.
Awesome staff and owner. Very friendly. This place is such a fantastic historic atmosphere to enjoy good conversations, awesome selection of in house brews, rye, bourbon and fabulous food!!!! Yall gotta check this place out. As a pass byer on my bike I just had to stop in and glad we did!!!
Absolutely love all the upgrades! New Menu! The food is fantastic! The distilled products are my favorite! If you are looking for good food, go here!! My new favorite place!!
Another place we happened upon while out looking for new places to try. Friendly staff and good 'spirits'. If you are running around Gettysburg and would like to have a drink in a vintage place... this is one to visit. Just be careful after too many cold ones as the flooring tends to be uneven from age, you might just be the stumbling, dancing clown if your are not careful. It all lends to the enjoyable visit. :-
Since the joining Divino's my husband qnd i where blown away by the food! The beer wasn't our favorite but to each there own they where good just not was a stand out for us. But we will be back again wanna try one of the cocktails with there spirits next time. All in all it was a great quiet night out for us. Service was wonderful as well everyone one friendly and pleasant. Picture is of the crab fries!!! Try them your taste buds will thank you!!!
I was here around 10 years ago and it was bad. After CJs moved there I decided to venture out and give them a second chance. I loved CJs in Shippensburg. If you're coming here because you loved CJs, abort the mission! This place is like someone put a Chic Fil A sign on a KFC. Nothing has any connection to CJs. The food is truck stop quality. The beers are flat and watered down. The venue is dirty and poorly finished. The staff was friendly and attentive though. This is a great venue and could be so much more. Not sure why CJs put there good name on such a subpar establishment. Honestly, I just think they're using their historic venue and claims as a brewery to pray on tourists.
Food was decent. Beer was ehh. Vanilla porter kind of lacked all around flavor. The pineapple IPA was as described but didn’t quite hit the spot.
