Belmont Park Race Track
"From its grand opening on May 4, 1905, Belmont Park has hosted some of racing’s most indelible moments, including the site for all 13 of the sport’s Triple Crown winners.Located in Elmont, New York, Belmont Park remains a vibrant track that continues to host some of the highest caliber racing in the country, including the annual Belmont Stakes Racing Festival in June centered on the Belmont Stakes, the last of the three Classic races to be contested every year. With more than 30,000 seats and a spacious backyard bolstered by its famous Japanese White Pine tree that serves as the park’s logo, Belmont remains home to must-see events such as the Stars & Stripes Racing Festival and the newly implemented Turf Trinity."

Friday before Belmont Stakes is a great time to go. Not crowded and quality card. Actually any day besides Belmont Day is a great time. The only negative is lost a lot of backyard space since they constructed UBS arena.
Older horse racing track with quite a great history. $5 general admission gives you ability to walk the grounds, where you can have a picnic or grab a bite at the consesion stands. Prices are high for what you get so better to bring your own food. The racing is fun and grounds quite nice. Staff is friendly and will explain the betting process if needed. Overall a fun day if the weather is nice.
I went to the Park Area with quite a few people..........It was a Beautiful Day, The Weather couldn't have been better!! Laughing, Eating, Some Winners & Soooo much Fun!
My beloved Belmont Park. What have they done to you? My first visit since 2019 and oh how different it is. Didn't realize that they took about a third of the backyard area to accommodate the new arena. The biggest thing missing are the trees. No shade anymore. The track and the horses are still spectacular. But the facility itself? It's a shame to see this place in such decline.
The reason for four star I did not go down there for horse racing I went down there because my job is doing an underground tunnel across the track
First time at this beautiful track. It was a lot bigger than I had expected. The weather didn't cooperate the day we were there, but I enjoyed the time that I got to spend there.
Beautiful track, friendly staff, only gone on Belmont day lots of food people. Feels very historical and classic. Lots of nice spots where you can go and have plenty of quiet and space. It’s all around a great day at the track on Belmont day. Did I mention the food truck festival on Belmont day?
The Belmont stakes was a great experience and the park itself was clean, beautiful, and looked quite historical. Lots of food and drink options and the views were wonderful. I would definite suggest this place to any equestrian buff and horse racing enthusiast.
So much fun to go to the racetrack! Wonderful to see the horses to watch the race to enjoy a delicious warm pretzel. The people who took the bets were very patient with my silly questions and were patient and helpful. The only negative that blew my mind was that a small bottle of water was $5.00. But I would absolutely go again.
Beautiful park , the racetrack is so huge it's breathe taking the trees and atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful and you get to see the horses up front very close. The bathrooms could use some updates but for a 150 year old place it's is beautifully maintained so much to take in. Parking pretty cheap as well.
