Loved the staff, environment and not hard to find. Pricey for sure but w number of vets in area...expected. Dr. Gray took his time so spook worth it.

Fine for a well-check and shots; but if your pet is sick, you will need to go elsewhere. Tried to get a follow-up for my pup, who had a medical emergency and was seen at an 24-hour emergency clinic over the weekend. She still isn’t eating. I am an established client at Best Friends, and I was told that they could not see my sick dog for two weeks ! and that I should take her back to the emergency vet if I felt she needed to be seen sooner. Yeah, I don’t think she can go two weeks without food. I found another vet and am transferring my pets’ records. If your pet’s health is your priority, you should find another vet, too.

This place was amazing!! The vet and the nurses went above and beyond for my kitty!! They never got frustrated for my 5 million questions or tried to cut me off from talking. They listened and answered all my questions. This place is truly a blessing!!

I brought a chicken into the clinic to be seen, I had to stay in the waiting room for over an hour before I saw a doctor, he did not give me a diagnosis, he told me he would report back to me within a couple of days after he spoke to some of his colleagues to try to find out what was wrong with my chicken. he never contacted me back. And from today's date that was a week ago

Had the best first time experience with this vet, Dr Gray and his assistant treated my babies with such kindness and were gentle. we will be back!

If you live anywhere between Calhoun, Adairsville, and Rome, Best Friends Animal Hospital should be your only Vet of choice! We used to take our six pets to Calhoun Pet Care. However, we found that Calhoun Pet Care was blatantly doing nothing more than lying to us and ripping us off, not to mention not having a clue how to diagnose an obvious leg condition with one of our dogs. We asked locals and many suggested Best Friends, so we took our dog there, and in less than an hour, the issue with our dogs leg was correctly diagnosed, and we were prescribed medication that did in fact correct it. Whereas the other vet charged us for several unnecessary tests and x-rays, then referred us to an Orthopedic specialist in Chattanooga. Neither of which would have corrected the issue in the first place. Okay, so with all that said, we take all of our animals to Best Friends now and each visit, the doctor comes in, spends quality time, does a full head to toe assessment and answers any questions we have. They charge appropriately, and they've never once been wrong. I would highly recommend Best Friends Animal Hospital to anyone who loves their pets the way we do, and I can assure, you will not be charged for treatments or services you don't need. I am sorry for sharing the other companies name in this review, but I feel actual true experiences and feedback are important for others to know in making their own decision. I know all will not agree with me, and I respect everyone's opinions. I am only sharing our experiences with these to Veterinarians and Best Friends won our business hands down.

They have been the vets for our animals for over 10 years, and we have found them to be professional and compassionate. This morning, however, we had to take our darling dog, Sugar, to be permanently relieved of all her illness. They were very kind and understanding, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets.
