I had to get my cat Lola in last minute because she was having an eye issue. My regular vet was unavailable and Big Thompson was able to fit her in the same day which I appreciated. It was a Friday and I didn’t want to put it off until Monday. They also called to make sure Lola had improved. Unfortunately they are too far away to be my regular vet but I definitely recommend them for anyone look for a new vet!
I'm so enamored by the loving staff at Big Thompson. I was blessed to find this vet with my first kitty. They were the only vet and tech team he ever knew. He was tenderly cared for from 6weeks through 10years ultimately passing with liver and kidney failure. This team loved my cat and still speak of him fondly equal parts loving and heartbreaking for me. Now they see my next babies a kitty and a dog. I can't speak highly enough of my veterinary team. I know I have knowledgeable techs to answer last minute weird calls, fantastic vets who love animals better than doctors love people, and so many behind the scenes people making it a pleasure to bring my animals in. I always know there is nothing to worry about when they take my babies in the back. I appreciate all the tenderness you all exhibit. Xoxo
This is a great veterinary clinic and I will continue to take my 4 year old Lab here for his health care needs! A great experience from beginning to end, and the doctors and staff know how to treat and care for your pets! I highly recommend it!
Best vet clinic on the front range! Always have the most knowledgeable and helpful staff. They never try to up charge you for things you don’t need. Honest, trustworthy, and top notch care for our four legged family members!
By far, the best vet I've had experience with. Staff is as friendly as it gets. Doctors and vet techs are all Amazing! Know what they're doing, are empathetic with every situation, straightforward with what needs done and cost. 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5 stars for sure. I've never had any problems booking an appointment, even when it's an emergency. Highly recommend and are who I Do recommend when people ask for vet recommendations. Thank you guys so very much for All you do!! I can't thank you guys enough!! Truly the best of the best
Very attentive, follow up within 24 hrs. Appreciate the TLC of my little friend.
Anytime we have issues with our 4 dogs, they get us in. Even if they don't have an opening, they will let you drop off your dog and look at them when they can squeeze them in. I recommend this place to everyone. They are more worried about your dogs than other places. The cost is reasonable also
We have been taking our dogs and cat to Big Thompson for over a year and have been very happy. We have two 15-year-old cattle dogs who have had various needs medications, toe removal for a nail bed tumor, x-rays, and we are very happy with the team's approach to senior dog care. They also helped us make tough decisions at the end of our Anatolian Shepherd's life, to make sure he was as comfortable as possible in his final days. Our Great Pyrenees has had knee surgery there, and we were so pleased with her care. They are friendly and kind, provide excellent veterinary care, and do so at a pretty affordable price. They're probably not the absolute cheapest in town, but they're less than other vets we have seen, and we never feel that they are overcharging or pushing us to do procedures. It's also easy to schedule urgent or last-minute visits. They do their best to fit you in as soon as possible, which isn't the case everywhere.
Switched to this vet after having some issues with another vet and I'm so glad I did. Everyone is very friendly and good with my dog. The office has always been great about contacting me and keeping me in the loop. Thanks for everything you do Big Thompson!
