Blinkers Tavern has been voted Winner of the "Best Steak" Award of Northern Kentucky for the last five years!

This trendy steakhouse features the best in hand cut steaks, fresh seafood, hand crafted burgers and pastas as well as a full bar.

Enjoy lunch or dinner daily. Sip on a cocktail in one of our horse racing theme inspired rooms. Dine inside or outside on our patio or in the courtyard.

Guests are seated first come first served. For larger groups, please call ahead. We welcome rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, showers and family gatherings. We look forward to serving you.

Free parking is available for our guests in three lots behind the restaurant.

Our party of six received excellent service from Shelly. His NY strip was on special and the accompanying mushrooms were fresh and delicious. The steak was prepared a bit under but Shelly whisked it off to the kitchen and it was returned quickly at the right temperature. Baked potato was good. Caesar salad was also good but average. My grouper Amanda was quite good served over perfectly tender asparagus and with a nice creamy lemon caper sauce. Had the mixed greens salad. Nothing special on its own, but the blood orange vinaigrette changed it into something special. Delicious!! Very good bread basket. Overall pleasant evening with great service and affordable dinner.
We enjoyed our visit. Food was good and so was the service. The picture of the pasta is half size. I asked them to box the other half prior to bringing it out so I could have it for another meal. Pasta was teally good even days later. Spicy margarita wasn't great, but it was a big serving. Being a tavern, it would have been nice to have a bar mix pretzels, popcorn, etc to munch on while waiting. We sat in the bar area so we aren't sure if the experience would change sitting elsewhere.
Bone in ribeye was cooked perfectly we ordered it rare. Cesar salad wasn't anything special. They did not have anchovies. Cheesecake tasted generic and frozen, probably would not order that again. Wine selection was decent. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy in the resturant and dirty plates were left on our table.
What a gem!! Our waitress was very attentive and took very good care of us. The food was soooo good! I ordered the chicken alfredo and I think it was the best I have EVER had in a restaurant!! I would highly suggest this restaurant. It is pricey but so worth it!!Food: 5/5
This is low key one of my favorite hidden gems in the tristate! The food is always fresh and delicious. Mother’s Day lunch was scrumptious.Food: 5/5
I'm in town for a convention with some coworkers . We asked the locals where they would suggest we eat and the majority agreed that the steaks, service and prices at Blinkers was worth the short uphill walk. I'm so glad we listened. My steak was prepared perfectly, the restaurant was cosy with a really easy going atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and so was the entire staff. If I'm ever in town again, I'm going back!
We were looking for a non-chain restaurant that served steaks and was open at lunch time on a weekend. Blinkers Tavern did not disappoint! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The food, from appetizers to mains, was delicious! One steak was overcooked and they had a new one ready quickly so that we all still ate together. There is plenty of seating, indoors and outside. Limited parking behind and lots within a block. Will definitely return!
Truly unbeatable price for service, food, and location. Our waitress was awesome and the steaks were soooo good. Fun fact the seasoning is a secret made exclusively by the owner prior to getting to the restaurant. The Mac and cheese was superb and the bone in ribeye was delicious. Totally understand why the awards are given and with the overall price you can't go wrong. The one mistake I made was getting the caesar over the cobb which looked killer. Caesar dressing was thin and had me a bit disappointed. The restaurant is a tad claustrophobic especially during peak times but short of that the overall experience was fantastic!
It is always a pleasant experience dining at Blinkers! The food is delicious and service is excellent. I stopped in for a quick dinner, chose the steak salad. It was a light yet very tasty! My steak was cooked just right and there was asparagus and tomatoes bringing extra flavor! I highly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Beyond salads they off a black bean burger and a Buddha bowl that has lots of flavors!
when I work in Cincinnati this is my go to place across the river in Covington Kentucky. It's close to the hotel that I stay at and probably some of the best food in the area. Simply put I love this place. I will recommend that you call ahead for reservations even if it's only a single person. It seems this place is always packed and sometimes I have to wait but it's well worth it almost everything I've gotten here has been made with perfection. For the overall price quality and service blinkers can't be beat. It's easy to recommend this place to all my friends family and followers and definitely deserving of a 5/5 star review.
