The Archives are fully accessible to the public. We hold a collection of local historical research materials including photographs, maps and documents.
Located in the Grand Forks City Hall Building, the Archives are fully accessible to the public. We hold a collection of historical newspapers, including a full collection of the Grand Forks Gazette going back to 1897. We also hold extensive collections of maps, photographs, and city records. Please call, email, or Facebook message us if you have any inquiries about the history of the Boundary region, or if you would like to come by the archives. We are open Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-3pm.
We also would gladly welcome any donations pertaining to our geographic area, which stretches from the Canada-US Border north to Granby Provincial Park, east to Gladstone Provincial Park, and west to Eholt Summit. It includes Grand Forks, Christina Lake (including Fife, Cascade City, and Hilltop), Paulson, and Phoenix. Please contact the archives if you have anything you would like to donate to our collection!
