The Heritage Village has events for all ages through out the year, with the biggest event the 3rd weekend in August (Heritage Days). All are welcome to come out and get involved!!
We are an ALL volunteer Non-Profit organization. On our grounds we have created a small village to represent the 1800 and 1900's. Our grounds contain a church, school, general store, barn, town hall, log cabin, house, and much more. All of our buildings have come from East Grand Forks or a small radius.
We also provide a few buildings for events, such as weddings, receptions, showers, meetings. etc...
The East Grand Forks Heritage center’s main goal is to inform the community of our past, and to appreciate how things were done. Heritage day occurs the third weekend in August every year. There are many events that take place during this festival including, threshing grain, saw mill demonstration ran by a steamer, broom making, and classic tractor pull just to name a few. There are also a variety of old building including a log cabin, house, school, general store, black smith shop, an old railroad depot (with a train display) and a church. We have a lot of unique and rare equipment that's used in our demonstrations. We encourage everyone to come join us on our special event!
Tours and meals available upon request.
